# How to Get the Ancient Power Generator and Best Pals

Everything the Ancient Power Generator costs in Palworld: technology level 75 and 5 points, the 100 Paloxite Ingot, 200 Electric Organ and 10 Ancient Civilization Core recipe, the only three Pals that clear its rank 6 requirement, and how the overheat and Watering mechanic works.

The Ancient Power Generator is the last and largest power source in Palworld, sitting at technology level 75 behind 100 [Paloxite Ingot](https://palworld-db.com/item/WorldTreeIngot), 200 [Electric Organ](https://palworld-db.com/item/ElectricOrgan) and 10 [Ancient Civilization Core](https://palworld-db.com/item/AncientParts2). This guide covers its full unlock and material bill, the raw farm hiding underneath it, the only three Pals in the game that can staff it, the Watering Pal you need on standby for the overheat mechanic, and how it stacks against the three generators you already own.

## Ancient Power Generator at a Glance

It lives in the **Infrastructure** tab of the build menu, in the same row as the [Power Generator](https://palworld-db.com/structures) and Large Power Generator you have been running all game. Two numbers tell you what kind of project this is. The build itself carries a **1,000,000 workload**, double the Large Power Generator's 500,000 and twenty times the ordinary Power Generator's 50,000 — and that is before the ingots, which have workloads of their own. The other number is the staffing bar: **Generating Electricity rank 6**, which exactly three Pals in the Paldeck clear. There are two worker slots, and the generator must be placed inside your base radius like every other power source.

| What | Detail |
| --- | --- |
| Type | Base structure, **Infrastructure** tab |
| Technology level | Lv. 75 |
| Technology points | 5 (normal points, not Ancient Technology Points) |
| Materials | 100 [Paloxite Ingot](https://palworld-db.com/item/WorldTreeIngot), 200 [Electric Organ](https://palworld-db.com/item/ElectricOrgan), 10 [Ancient Civilization Core](https://palworld-db.com/item/AncientParts2) |
| Build workload | 1,000,000 |
| Work required | Generating Electricity **Lv. 6** |
| Worker slots | 2 |
| Qualifying Pals | 3 of 288 — [Orserk](https://palworld-db.com/pal/orserk), [Solmora Lux](https://palworld-db.com/pal/solmora-lux), [Dynamoff](https://palworld-db.com/pal/dynamoff) |
| Special mechanic | Overheats while running — needs a Watering Pal to cool it |
| Placement | Base camp only, inside the Palbox radius |
| SAN drain on workers | Same rate as the standard Power Generator, half the [Human-Powered Generator](https://palworld-db.com/guides/how-to-get-human-powered-generator) wheel |

## How to Unlock the Ancient Power Generator

Reach character level 75, open the [Palworld Technology Tree](https://palworld-db.com/tech) and spend 5 points. It is a normal technology, not a boss one, so it draws from the points you get by levelling rather than from Ancient Technology Points. Level 75 is a five-entry row that wants 21 points in total, and the generator is tied for the most expensive thing on it — but it is also the only unlock on the row that changes what your whole base can run, so take it before the shotgun and the saddle. The real gate is one row earlier: without the [Paloxite Ingot](https://palworld-db.com/item/WorldTreeIngot) recipe at level 74 you cannot craft a single one of the 100 ingots the build needs.

| Level 75 technology | Point cost | Worth taking first? |
| --- | --- | --- |
| | 5 | Yes — everything Ancient-tier needs the power |
| [Heat-Resistant Ancient Armor](https://palworld-db.com/item/AncientArmorHeat) | 5 | Only if you are heading into volcanic zones |
| [Beam Scatter](https://palworld-db.com/item/WidePenetrateShotgun) | 5 | A close-range weapon pick, not a base pick |
| [Tetroise Primo Saddle](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillUnlock_CubeTurtle_Neutral) | 4 | Mount convenience only |
| [Beam Scatter Ammo](https://palworld-db.com/item/WidePenetrateShotgunBullet) | 2 | Pointless without the Beam Scatter |

## Ancient Power Generator Materials

Three lines on the build screen, and they are three completely different farms. The 100 [Paloxite Ingot](https://palworld-db.com/item/WorldTreeIngot) is the wall — each bar carries a 1,000,000 crafting workload, so the ingots alone are 100,000,000 workload before the structure's own 1,000,000 starts. The 200 [Electric Organ](https://palworld-db.com/item/ElectricOrgan) is the easy line you can simply buy. The 10 [Ancient Civilization Core](https://palworld-db.com/item/AncientParts2) cannot be bought or crafted at all. Plan this as a multi-session build, and start the ingot queue running long before you hit level 75.

| Material | Qty | How it is made or found | Merchant value each |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Paloxite Ingot](https://palworld-db.com/item/WorldTreeIngot) | 100 | Crafted: 1 [Soralite](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkyIslandOre) + 2 [Paloxite](https://palworld-db.com/item/WorldTreeOre) + 1 [World Tree Holy Water](https://palworld-db.com/item/WorldTreeHolyWater) per bar, recipe at Lv. 74 | 16,200 Gold |
| [Electric Organ](https://palworld-db.com/item/ElectricOrgan) | 200 | 100% drop from 23 different Electric Pals, or straight off a merchant shelf | 300 Gold |
| [Ancient Civilization Core](https://palworld-db.com/item/AncientParts2) | 10 | Guaranteed from [Silvance](https://palworld-db.com/pal/silvance) and [Dandilord](https://palworld-db.com/pal/dandilord), World Tree chests, oil rig crates, relic recycling | 2,000 Gold |

### Paloxite Ingot ×100

Unlock the recipe at technology level 74 for 4 points, then feed the furnace one [Soralite](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkyIslandOre), two [Paloxite](https://palworld-db.com/item/WorldTreeOre) and one [World Tree Holy Water](https://palworld-db.com/item/WorldTreeHolyWater) per bar. Traced down to raw materials, 100 ingots is 100 Soralite, 200 Paloxite and 100 Holy Water. Soralite is the predictable half — [226 Soralite nodes sit on the map](https://palworld-db.com/map?layers=res_soralite), every one of them in Sunreach, and [Jetragon](https://palworld-db.com/pal/jetragon) hands over a flat 10 per kill at 100%. Paloxite is the awkward half, because it has no mineable node anywhere in the game: the [Ancient Relic Recycler](https://palworld-db.com/guides/ancient-relic-recycler) is the only reliable tap, and a Glistening Relic returns 9–11 at a time against a Decayed Relic's 1–3. Holy Water is a guaranteed 5–10 per World Tree field drop, so it sorts itself out while you are down there farming Paloxite.

| Raw material | Total for 100 ingots | Where to get it |
| --- | --- | --- |
| [Paloxite](https://palworld-db.com/item/WorldTreeOre) | 200 | Recycling Ancient Relics (1–3 up to 9–11 by grade), or an 18.7% field drop in the World Tree — no map nodes exist |
| [Soralite](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkyIslandOre) | 100 | [226 nodes, all in Sunreach](https://palworld-db.com/map?layers=res_soralite), 10 per [Jetragon](https://palworld-db.com/pal/jetragon) kill, or 30–40 from a Sunreach supply drop |
| [World Tree Holy Water](https://palworld-db.com/item/WorldTreeHolyWater) | 100 | 5–10 guaranteed from World Tree field drops — see [How to Get World Tree Holy Water](https://palworld-db.com/guides/where-to-find-holy-water) |

### Electric Organ ×200

Twenty-three Pals drop [Electric Organ](https://palworld-db.com/item/ElectricOrgan) at a 100% rate, so this is a volume question rather than a luck one. [Prixter Lux](https://palworld-db.com/pal/prixter-lux) is the best kill-for-kill payout at 4–5 organs, and all 35 of its spawn points sit on Sandstone Gate Islet, which makes it a tight, repeatable loop rather than a hike. [Beakon](https://palworld-db.com/pal/beakon) is the volume answer with 504 spawn points, one in five of them around Duneshelter. If you would rather not hunt at all, every village, caravan and dungeon merchant stocks organs at 300 Gold, so the whole 200 is a 60,000 Gold purchase — genuinely cheap at the point in the game where you are building this. The passive option is a [Ranch](https://palworld-db.com/ranch): [Sparkit](https://palworld-db.com/pal/sparkit) drops Electric Organs on the ranch floor while you do something else.

| Pal | Organs per kill | Spawn points | Where they cluster |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Prixter Lux](https://palworld-db.com/pal/prixter-lux) | 4–5 | [35](https://palworld-db.com/map?pal=ScorpionMan_Electric) | Sandstone Gate Islet — all 35 points, plus a Lv. 70 alpha |
| [Grizzbolt](https://palworld-db.com/pal/grizzbolt) | 2–4 | [40](https://palworld-db.com/map?pal=ElecPanda) | Spread thin, no single hotspot |
| [Azurmane](https://palworld-db.com/pal/azurmane) | 2–3 | [112](https://palworld-db.com/map?pal=BlueThunderHorse) | Feybreak Tower Entrance (43%), Azure Cliffs (26%) |
| [Relaxaurus Lux](https://palworld-db.com/pal/relaxaurus-lux) | 2–3 | [17](https://palworld-db.com/map?pal=LazyDragon_Electric) | Hill Entrance and Silent Lake |

| [Beakon](https://palworld-db.com/pal/beakon) | 1–2 | [504](https://palworld-db.com/map?pal=ThunderBird) | Duneshelter (20%), PIDF Tower Entrance (12%) |
| [Fenglope Lux](https://palworld-db.com/pal/fenglope-lux) | 1–2 | [258](https://palworld-db.com/map?pal=FengyunDeeper_Electric) | Emberstone Plateau (23%) |
| [Rayhound](https://palworld-db.com/pal/rayhound) | 1–2 | [235](https://palworld-db.com/map?pal=ThunderDog) | Loess Plains (27%) |
| [Pengullet Lux](https://palworld-db.com/pal/pengullet-lux) | 1–2 | [653](https://palworld-db.com/map?pal=Penguin_Electric) | Night only, all along the desert coast |
| [Sparkit](https://palworld-db.com/pal/sparkit) | 1–2 | [45](https://palworld-db.com/map?pal=ElecCat) | Small Settlement (38%) — the Ranch option |

### Ancient Civilization Core ×10

Cores are the line you cannot rush with gold or workload. Two Pals drop one every single time — [Silvance](https://palworld-db.com/pal/silvance) and [Dandilord](https://palworld-db.com/pal/dandilord) — and neither of them roams the wild, so you get them through [breeding](https://palworld-db.com/breeding) and then treat a breeding pair as a renewable Core farm. Outside those kills, treasure chests in the World Tree are the standout at a guaranteed 1–3, and the [Ancient Relic Recycler](https://palworld-db.com/guides/ancient-relic-recycler) pays cores as a bonus while you are already grinding it for Paloxite. Remember this is not a one-off bill either: the [Ancient Material Synthesizer](https://palworld-db.com/guides/how-to-get-ancient-material-synthesizer) wants 10 more and the Ancient Farm another 10, so a finished Ancient base is 30 cores deep.

| Source | Cores | Odds |
| --- | --- | --- |
| [Silvance](https://palworld-db.com/pal/silvance) | 1 | 100% per kill — breeding only, see [how to breed Silvance](https://palworld-db.com/breeding/silvance) |
| [Dandilord](https://palworld-db.com/pal/dandilord) | 1 | 100% per kill — breeding only, see [how to breed Dandilord](https://palworld-db.com/breeding/dandilord) |
| Treasure chests in the World Tree | 1–3 | 100% |
| Recycling Glistening Ancient Relics | 5–10 | 41.5% |
| Recycling Glowing Ancient Relics | 5–10 | 34.6% |
| Recycling Gorgeous Ancient Relics | 5–10 | 28.8% |
| Crates on the oil rigs | 1–5 | 55.0% |
| Fishing the treasure spots in the World Tree | 1–3 | 63.6% |

## Best Pals to Run the Ancient Power Generator

Rank 6 Generating Electricity is the highest work bar the game asks for anywhere, and only 25 Pals have the suitability at all. Three of them clear it. [Orserk](https://palworld-db.com/pal/orserk) is the outright best at rank 8 and the only Pal above 6, so if you own one it goes straight into slot one. [Solmora Lux](https://palworld-db.com/pal/solmora-lux) is the interesting pick — it is the single Pal in the game with rank 6 electricity **and** a Watering rating, which means one Pal covers both halves of this machine's requirements. [Dynamoff](https://palworld-db.com/pal/dynamoff) rounds out the list and is the easiest to pin down, since 96% of its 26 spawn points are in Waterlily Gorge with a Lv. 67 alpha among them.

| Pal | Generating Electricity | Watering | Where to get it | Why it works |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Orserk](https://palworld-db.com/pal/orserk) | 8 | — | [33 spawn points](https://palworld-db.com/map?pal=ThunderDragonMan), Lv. 74–80 in packs of 1–3; breeds only from an Orserk pair | The highest electricity rating in the game — nothing else passes rank 6 |
| [Solmora Lux](https://palworld-db.com/pal/solmora-lux) | 6 | 4 | [251 spawn points](https://palworld-db.com/map?pal=KingSunfish_Thunder), 65% in Waterlily Gorge; also breeds from [Solmora](https://palworld-db.com/pal/solmora) + [Slowatt](https://palworld-db.com/pal/slowatt) | The only Pal that meets both the electricity bar and the Watering requirement |
| [Dynamoff](https://palworld-db.com/pal/dynamoff) | 6 | — | [26 spawn points](https://palworld-db.com/map?pal=ThunderFluffyBird), 96% in Waterlily Gorge plus a Lv. 67 alpha | Easiest rank 6 to find in the wild, and drops 2 Electric Organs per kill |

With two slots to fill and only three candidates, the ideal pairing is Orserk plus Solmora Lux: the strongest rating in the game next to the one Pal that also solves cooling. If you are short, breed for the gap — Orserk only comes from an Orserk pair, while Solmora Lux has a unique combo in [Solmora](https://palworld-db.com/pal/solmora) + [Slowatt](https://palworld-db.com/pal/slowatt) that is far easier to arrange. Work Speed passives apply here like any other base job, so an Artisan on a rank 6 Pal beats a bare-passive one every time.

### The Watering Pal That Keeps It Cool

The generator's own description spells the rule out: it needs high-level Generating Electricity **and** any level of Watering. The Watering half is not one of the two worker slots — it is a base job that fires when the machine overheats, so what you actually need is at least one free Watering Pal on your base roster who is not permanently glued to a plantation. Any rank works, so a spare [Azurobe](https://palworld-db.com/pal/azurobe) does the job as well as anything. [Shaolong](https://palworld-db.com/pal/shaolong) at rank 8 is the best rating in the game if you want the same Pal covering watering duty across a busy farm base, and [Whalaska](https://palworld-db.com/pal/whalaska) is the efficient double-dip since it also brings Cooling 6 for your fridges.

| Pal | Watering | Other jobs it covers | Where to get it |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Shaolong](https://palworld-db.com/pal/shaolong) | 8 | Gathering 5 | [63 spawn points](https://palworld-db.com/map?pal=BlueSkyDragon), Lv. 76–78 |
| [Jormuntide](https://palworld-db.com/pal/jormuntide) | 7 | None | Lv. 55 alpha — no ordinary wild spots |
| [Neptilius](https://palworld-db.com/pal/neptilius) | 7 | None | Lv. 60 alpha — no ordinary wild spots |
| [Faleris Aqua](https://palworld-db.com/pal/faleris-aqua) | 6 | Transporting 5 | [197 spawn points](https://palworld-db.com/map?pal=Horus_Water), Silent Lake (31%) |
| [Suzaku Aqua](https://palworld-db.com/pal/suzaku-aqua) | 6 | None | [50 spawn points](https://palworld-db.com/map?pal=Suzaku_Water), Azure Covenant Tower Entrance (52%) |
| [Whalaska](https://palworld-db.com/pal/whalaska) | 5 | Cooling 6 | [187 spawn points](https://palworld-db.com/map?pal=IceNarwhal), Feybreak Shipwreck (24%) |
| [Ophydia](https://palworld-db.com/pal/ophydia) | 5 | Planting 7 | Lv. 69 alpha — no ordinary wild spots |
| [Solmora Lux](https://palworld-db.com/pal/solmora-lux) | 4 | Generating Electricity 6 | [251 spawn points](https://palworld-db.com/map?pal=KingSunfish_Thunder), Waterlily Gorge (65%) |
| [Azurobe](https://palworld-db.com/pal/azurobe) | 4 | None | [199 spawn points](https://palworld-db.com/map?pal=BlueDragon), Lv. 35–80 |

## How the Overheat Mechanic Works

No other power source in Palworld does this. Run the Ancient Power Generator long enough and it overheats, and the base flags it with a **Generator Overheated (Requires: Watering)** status — at which point output stops until a Watering Pal comes over and cools it down. That is the whole trade for the biggest generator in the game: it is not fire-and-forget the way a Large Power Generator is, and a base staffed entirely with Electric and Mining Pals will quietly sit at zero power while every Ancient station on the grid goes idle. Keep a Watering Pal in the roster with slack in its schedule, and check the machine after a long AFK session before you blame the wiring.

> **Tip.** If you only have room for one more Pal at the base, make it [Solmora Lux](https://palworld-db.com/pal/solmora-lux). It is the only Pal that clears the rank 6 electricity bar and carries Watering at the same time, which means it can hold a generator slot and still be eligible for the cooling job — no other Pal in the game gives you both on one roster spot.

## Ancient Power Generator vs the Other Generators

Palworld gives you four power sources across the whole game, and the gap between the top two is mostly about staffing rather than build cost. The [Large Power Generator](https://palworld-db.com/structures) at level 50 takes any Pal with rank 1 electricity — that is 25 Pals — and never overheats, which is why most bases run two or three of them side by side. The Ancient Power Generator asks for rank 6, a Watering Pal on call, and a 1,000,000 build workload, and pays that back with the highest output in the game from a single footprint. Build slots and worker headcount are the scarce things in a late base, so the real argument for it is that one machine and two Pals replace a wall of Large Power Generators and their workers.

| Generator | Level | Points | Materials | Build workload | Who can run it |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| | 26 | 1 | 5 [Wooden Board](https://palworld-db.com/item/Processed_Wood), 5 [Electric Organ](https://palworld-db.com/item/ElectricOrgan) | 5,000 | Any Pal — Anyone rank 1 |
| | 26 | 3 | 50 [Ingot](https://palworld-db.com/item/CopperIngot), 20 [Electric Organ](https://palworld-db.com/item/ElectricOrgan) | 50,000 | Generating Electricity rank 1 (25 Pals) |
| | 50 | 4 | 200 [Pal Metal Ingot](https://palworld-db.com/item/StealIngot), 200 [Electric Organ](https://palworld-db.com/item/ElectricOrgan) | 500,000 | Generating Electricity rank 1 (25 Pals) |
| | 75 | 5 | 100 [Paloxite Ingot](https://palworld-db.com/item/WorldTreeIngot), 200 [Electric Organ](https://palworld-db.com/item/ElectricOrgan), 10 [Ancient Civilization Core](https://palworld-db.com/item/AncientParts2) | 1,000,000 | Generating Electricity rank 6 (3 Pals) + a Watering Pal |

## What Actually Needs This Much Power

Forty-two structures in the game draw electricity, and the Ancient tier is where the draw stops being polite. The [Ancient Furnace](https://palworld-db.com/structures) alone pulls 3,000 — the joint-heaviest load in the game with the High-Pressure Crude Oil Extractor — and the Ancient Workbench adds 2,000 on top. Stack a full endgame workshop with the [Ancient Material Synthesizer](https://palworld-db.com/guides/how-to-get-ancient-material-synthesizer), the Ancient Hatchery and the [Ancient Relic Recycler](https://palworld-db.com/guides/ancient-relic-recycler) and you are past 7,000 before the advanced assembly lines plug in. That is the case for this build in one line: everything you unlocked between levels 66 and 78 is useless without a grid that can carry it.

| Structure | Power draw | Tech Lv |
| --- | --- | --- |
| | 3,000 | 66 |
| | 3,000 | 51 |
| | 2,000 | 67 |
| | 2,000 | 50 |
| | 1,500 | 58 |
| | 1,200 | 76 |
| | 1,000 | 62 |
| | 1,000 | 63 |
| | 800 | 78 |
| | 800 | 74 |

## Get More Out of It: Pylon, Accumulator and Research

Three cheap upgrades multiply what this generator gives you, and two of them you could have built forty levels ago. The [Electric Pylon](https://palworld-db.com/structures) at level 48 costs 2 points and improves generating speed for the whole base — placing a second one does nothing, so build exactly one. The Accumulator at level 37 banks the surplus so your grid does not brown out the moment a worker wanders off or the generator overheats, which matters far more here than on a Large Power Generator you never have to babysit. Then there is the [Pal Labor Research Lab](https://palworld-db.com/research), where the Electricity line runs six Generating Electricity tiers stacking to +45%, three Power Storage Solutions tiers worth +70% storage, and three Power Saving Mastery tiers that cut consumption by 20% across every structure on the grid.

| Upgrade | Level or line | Cost | What it does |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| | Tech Lv. 48 | 2 points · 20 [Ingot](https://palworld-db.com/item/CopperIngot), 2 [Bio Battery](https://palworld-db.com/item/Bio_Battery), 5 [Circuit Board](https://palworld-db.com/item/MachineParts2) | Base-wide boost to electricity generating speed — one is enough |
| | Tech Lv. 37 | 50 [Ingot](https://palworld-db.com/item/CopperIngot), 20 [Electric Organ](https://palworld-db.com/item/ElectricOrgan), 5 [Cryogenic Coolant](https://palworld-db.com/item/Bio_Coolant), 5 [Corrosive Solvent](https://palworld-db.com/item/Corrosive_Solvent) | Stores surplus power so the grid rides out an overheat |
| Generating Electricity Lv1–6 | [Research Lab](https://palworld-db.com/research) | Electric Organs, Circuit Boards, [Ancient Pal Manuscript](https://palworld-db.com/item/AncientParts3) | +45% total to electricity work |
| Power Storage Solutions Lv1–3 | [Research Lab](https://palworld-db.com/research) | Electric Organs, Circuit Boards, [Ancient Civilization Parts](https://palworld-db.com/item/PalCrystal_Ex) | +70% total storage capacity |
| Power Saving Mastery Lv1–3 | [Research Lab](https://palworld-db.com/research) | Circuit Boards, 5 [Ancient Civilization Core](https://palworld-db.com/item/AncientParts2) at the top tier | -20% power consumption base-wide |

## Is the Ancient Power Generator Worth Building?

Yes, if your base is running Ancient stations — the [Ancient Furnace](https://palworld-db.com/structures) and Ancient Workbench together pull 5,000, and covering that with Large Power Generators means a row of machines and a crowd of workers you would rather spend elsewhere. No, if you have not caught [Orserk](https://palworld-db.com/pal/orserk), [Solmora Lux](https://palworld-db.com/pal/solmora-lux) or [Dynamoff](https://palworld-db.com/pal/dynamoff) yet, because 100 Paloxite Ingots buy you an ornament that nobody in your box is qualified to switch on. The honest order of operations is: catch a rank 6 Pal first, get a Watering Pal free on the roster second, start the ingot queue third, and spend the 5 technology points last.
