# How to Get Flea Market (Pals): Cost, Materials, and Uses

Flea Market (Pals) unlocks at Lv. 22 for 2 Technology Points and costs 20 Ingot, 4 Wooden Board and 5 Paldium Fragment in Palworld. Here is the raw farming list behind those materials, how listing and revenue work, what a Pal is really worth, and which Pals are actually worth putting on the shelf.

Flea Market (Pals) is the stall you drop in your base so other players can buy your Pals for Gold, instead of you handing them to a merchant for a twentieth of what they are worth. This guide covers the level and points it unlocks at, all three materials and the raw resources hiding under them, how the sales list and revenue work, what a Pal actually fetches, and which Pals are worth the shelf space.

## Flea Market (Pals) at a Glance

It lives in the **Other** tab of the build menu, right beside the item version, and both stalls arrived together in the Feybreak update. The number that catches people out is the build workload: **9,000**, nine times what the Palbox asks for, which puts it among the 120 heaviest builds out of the 498 you can place. Everything else about it is cheap — no power draw, one worker slot that takes any Pal, and a materials bill worth about **6,190 Gold**, which is roughly 1,090 less than the item stall costs because [Paldium Fragment](https://palworld-db.com/item/Pal_crystal_S) is a far cheaper third ingredient than [Cloth](https://palworld-db.com/item/Cloth).

| What | Detail |
| --- | --- |
| Type | Base structure, **Other** tab of the build menu |
| Technology level | Lv. 22 |
| Cost | 2 Technology Points — ordinary ones, no tower boss needed |
| Materials | 20 [Ingot](https://palworld-db.com/item/CopperIngot), 4 [Wooden Board](https://palworld-db.com/item/Processed_Wood), 5 [Paldium Fragment](https://palworld-db.com/item/Pal_crystal_S) |
| Build workload | 9,000 — 9× the Palbox's 1,000 |
| Power | None. It draws no electricity |
| Assigned workers | 1 slot, any work suitability at rank 1 — base Pals only, not your active partner |
| Durability | 4,000 HP, 6 Defense (31 in PvP), and it wears down over time |
| Placement | Inside a base's build radius only |
| How many per base | No cap — build as many stalls as you have space for |
| Restriction | Cannot be built in a raid boss area |
| Material value | About 6,190 Gold |
| What it does | Lists Pals for sale to other players at prices you set, and holds the Gold until you collect it |

## How to Unlock Flea Market (Pals)

Reach character level 22, open the [Palworld Technology Tree](https://palworld-db.com/tech) and spend 2 points on it. They are the ordinary points you earn one per level, so nothing here is gated behind a tower boss. The problem is the traffic jam at that level: eight ordinary technologies unlock at once and want 13 points between them, and almost nobody arrives at level 22 with 13 spare.

If you play solo, put both stalls at the very bottom of that queue — a shop with no shoppers earns nothing. On a co-op world or a dedicated server, flip it: the two booths and the [Pal Expedition Station](https://palworld-db.com/expeditions) are the three unlocks at this level that keep working while you are logged into something else, and the furniture sets can wait forever. Between the two stalls, the Pal one is the better first buy, because a Pal is the only thing you own whose merchant payout is genuinely insulting.

| Level 22 technology | Points | What it gets you |
| --- | --- | --- |
| | 2 | Sells Pals to other players at prices you set yourself |
| | 2 | The same stall for items out of your inventory |
| | 2 | Sends benched Pals out for loot on a timer |
| [Stun Baton](https://palworld-db.com/item/ElecBaton) | 2 | Melee jolt that softens Pals up for capture |
| [Vanwyrm Cryst Saddle](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillUnlock_BirdDragon_Ice) | 2 | Flying mount saddle, worth it the moment you own the Pal |
| [High Quality Bait](https://palworld-db.com/item/FishingBait_2) | 1 | Better bite chance than Simple Bait |
| | 1 | Decoration. Two clock pieces, no effect |
| | 1 | Decoration. Four metal furniture pieces |
| [Homeward Thundercloud](https://palworld-db.com/item/Homeward) | 2 Ancient | Teleports you to the nearest base — Ancient points, so it does not touch the 13 above |

## All Materials and Where to Farm Them

Nothing on this list is late-game and nothing has to be bought. By level 22 your base already makes two of the three, and the third is the most common blue rock on the island. Broken down to raw resources the whole stall is **42 Ore, 40 Wood, 20 Fiber and 5 Paldium Fragment** — one furnace run, one logging run and a short mining detour. The Ingots are 78% of the Gold value on their own, so if you have a stack of them banked already this is close to free.

| Material | Qty | Raw cost | Where it comes from |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Ingot](https://palworld-db.com/item/CopperIngot) | 20 | 40 Ore | Primitive Furnace, 2 Ore each |
| [Wooden Board](https://palworld-db.com/item/Processed_Wood) | 4 | 40 Wood, 20 Fiber, 4 Nails | Primitive Workbench, plus 1 more Ingot for the Nails |
| [Paldium Fragment](https://palworld-db.com/item/Pal_crystal_S) | 5 | Nothing — it is already raw | Mined from blue Paldium rocks, or 70 Gold each from a Wandering Merchant |

### 20 Ingot — 42 Ore

Every Ingot is 2 Ore in a furnace, so the booth alone wants 40, and you need one extra Ingot to cover the 4 Nails the Wooden Boards ask for — a single Ingot makes 5 Nails. Call the whole trip 42 Ore. There are **1,632 ore nodes** on the island and all of them sit on our [Palworld interactive map with the ore layer switched on](https://palworld-db.com/map?layers=res_copperore), so flying a loop between clusters beats mining one node dry and waiting. If you would rather never do it again, [Digtoise](https://palworld-db.com/pal/digtoise) is a Mining 4 worker with 660 spawn points, which makes it the easiest strong miner to actually find at this stage.

### 4 Wooden Board — 40 Wood, 20 Fiber, 4 Nails

Each board is 10 Wood, 5 Fiber and 1 Nail at the Primitive Workbench, so four of them swallow 40 Wood and 20 Fiber before the Nails start. Wood and Fiber come off the same trees — Fiber is 2 per Wood at the workbench if your Pals are short — and a Logging Site with a Lumbering worker on it covers the order in the background. The Nails send you back to the furnace for that one extra Ingot, which leaves you a spare.

### 5 Paldium Fragment — Mined, Not Crafted

This is the material that makes the Pal stall cheaper than the item one, and it is the easiest line on the list. There are **711 Paldium Ore nodes** across the island — the glowing blue rocks you have been smashing for [Pal Spheres](https://palworld-db.com/item/PalSphere) since hour one — and they are all pinned on our [Palworld map with the Paldium layer enabled](https://palworld-db.com/map?layers=res_paldiumore). There is nothing to craft here, so just swing a pickaxe until you have five. If you cannot be bothered, a Wandering Merchant sells fragments at 70 Gold each, so the entire requirement is 350 Gold across the counter.

## How to Use Flea Market (Pals)

Once the stall is standing, you fill its sales list from the Pals you own, put a Gold price on each entry, and other players walk up to browse what is on it. Buyers see the Pal and its level before they pay, which is why level does half the selling for you. Your takings do not land in your pocket — they sit inside the booth until you collect them, exactly like the item version, so make a habit of emptying it on the way past.

The part to be careful about is that a sale is final. A Pal that leaves your list is gone: there is no buy-back window and no undo, so check the passives and the level twice before you confirm anything you spent breeding hours on. Pull the Pal out of your active party first as well — listing something you are still riding is a good way to lose a mount mid-flight. And because Gold is the only currency the stall accepts, everything here rides on your buyers having some, which our [Palworld Gold farming guide](https://palworld-db.com/guides/how-to-farm-gold) covers from the other side of the counter.

The obvious catch: this is a multiplayer structure. On a solo world nobody can browse it, so those 2 Technology Points do nothing until you are on a shared world — our [Palworld multiplayer guide](https://palworld-db.com/guides/multiplayer-guide) walks through getting a co-op session or dedicated server up. Place the stall near your base entrance or a fast travel statue rather than deep in the production sprawl, because a shop nobody can walk to is a shop nobody uses.

> **Tip.** Collect your revenue every time you pass. Gold piles up inside the booth rather than in your bag, and a stall you never empty is a stall that quietly stops paying you. Keep it out of any raid boss area too — the game refuses to place it there.

## What a Pal Is Actually Worth

Here is the reason this stall exists. Every Pal has a fixed base value, and its level multiplies that — 1.65x at level 1, climbing 0.15 per level to 9x at level 50. Merchants buy at one-twentieth of that price, which means even a level 50 [Jetragon](https://palworld-db.com/pal/jetragon) hands back about 2,003 Gold when a merchant would charge 40,068 for the same thing. Pocketpair has never published the formula, so treat the Gold columns as very close rather than to-the-coin, but the 20:1 gap is the point and it does not move.

A player stall has no such cap. You set the number, so a bred Pal with the passives someone wants can be listed at whatever the buyer will pay, and the merchant payout below becomes your floor rather than your ceiling. [Dumud Gild](https://palworld-db.com/pal/dumud-gild) is the extreme case: the most valuable Pal in the game at 19,900 base, and even it only returns 8,955 Gold to a merchant at level 50. Full numbers for every Pal are on our [Palworld Pal buy and sell values guide](https://palworld-db.com/guides/pal-buy-and-sell-values).

| Pal | Base value | Merchant pays at Lv 30 | Merchant pays at Lv 50 |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Dumud Gild](https://palworld-db.com/pal/dumud-gild) | 19,900 | 5,970 | 8,955 |
| [Turtacle Terra](https://palworld-db.com/pal/turtacle-terra) | 14,950 | 4,485 | 6,727 |
| [Astralym](https://palworld-db.com/pal/astralym) | 10,000 | 3,000 | 4,500 |
| [Frostallion Noct](https://palworld-db.com/pal/frostallion-noct) | 5,000 | 1,500 | 2,250 |
| [Jetragon](https://palworld-db.com/pal/jetragon) | 4,452 | 1,336 | 2,003 |
| [Lamball](https://palworld-db.com/pal/lamball) | 421 | 126 | 189 |

## Which Pals Are Worth Listing

Rarity sells, not raw power. Six Pals in the game have **zero wild spawn points** and only exist through one specific pairing of two different parents, which makes them the cleanest thing you can put on a stall — a buyer cannot go catch one instead, and cannot breed one either without already owning both parents. [Frostallion Noct](https://palworld-db.com/pal/frostallion-noct) tops that list at 5,000 base value and needs a Legendary parent to make, so it is the single best listing in the category.

The two below it are worth reading carefully. [Bellanoir](https://palworld-db.com/pal/bellanoir) comes from its own Libero form, meaning a buyer needs the raid line before they can produce one, and [Celesdir Noct](https://palworld-db.com/pal/celesdir-noct) needs two Pals most players do not have side by side. Further down, [Kingpaca Cryst](https://palworld-db.com/pal/kingpaca-cryst) is the cheap seller's pick — 1,624 base is nothing, but [Kingpaca](https://palworld-db.com/pal/kingpaca) is an alpha and most people have never bothered, so the Cryst version moves anyway. Our [list of all exclusive breeding combos](https://palworld-db.com/guides/exclusive-breeding-combos) has the full pairing chart if you would rather produce these in batches.

| Breeding-only Pal | Base value | The only pairing that makes it | Why it sells |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Frostallion Noct](https://palworld-db.com/pal/frostallion-noct) | 5,000 | [Frostallion](https://palworld-db.com/pal/frostallion) + [Helzephyr](https://palworld-db.com/pal/helzephyr) | Needs a Legendary parent, so most buyers simply cannot make one |
| [Bellanoir](https://palworld-db.com/pal/bellanoir) | 3,667 | [Bellanoir](https://palworld-db.com/pal/bellanoir) + [Bellanoir Libero](https://palworld-db.com/pal/bellanoir-libero) | Locked behind the raid altar line before breeding even starts |
| [Celesdir Noct](https://palworld-db.com/pal/celesdir-noct) | 3,528 | [Celesdir](https://palworld-db.com/pal/celesdir) + [Kitsun Noct](https://palworld-db.com/pal/kitsun-noct) | Two uncommon parents nobody keeps in the same pen |
| [Moldron Cryst](https://palworld-db.com/pal/moldron-cryst) | 3,328 | [Moldron](https://palworld-db.com/pal/moldron) + [Reptyro Cryst](https://palworld-db.com/pal/reptyro-cryst) | An Ice variant of a Volcano-tier Pal, so it fills an odd gap |
| [Katress Ignis](https://palworld-db.com/pal/katress-ignis) | 1,675 | [Katress](https://palworld-db.com/pal/katress) + [Wixen](https://palworld-db.com/pal/wixen) | Cheap to breed in bulk, and both parents are easy to find |
| [Kingpaca Cryst](https://palworld-db.com/pal/kingpaca-cryst) | 1,624 | [Kingpaca](https://palworld-db.com/pal/kingpaca) + [Reindrix](https://palworld-db.com/pal/reindrix) | The alpha parent puts most players off making it themselves |

The other half of the market has nothing to do with the Pal and everything to do with what is stapled to it. A Pal carrying rank 4 passives — Legend, Lucky, Demon God, Diamond Body — is worth far more to a buyer than its base value suggests, because those come out of a breeding chain rather than a merchant shelf. Same for maxed stats: a fully fed IV Pal saves the buyer a stack of fruit, and our guides on [how breeding works in Palworld](https://palworld-db.com/guides/how-breeding-works) and [farming IV Fruits and Training Crystals](https://palworld-db.com/guides/how-to-farm-iv-fruits-and-training-crystals) explain exactly how much work you are selling them. Price passive-stacked Pals by the hours they save, not by the Gold column above.

## Which Pal to Assign to the Stall

The booth's work suitability is **Anyone at rank 1**, so any base Pal can staff it — this is one of the few structures where the Pal you consider useless is the right answer. Only base Pals count, though: the one walking beside you cannot be assigned. There is one quirk worth knowing, which is that the in-game blurb for this stall repeats the item version's line about an Ice Pal keeping the food from spoiling. There is no food in a Pal stall, so ignore it and park whatever is idle.

[Tocotoco](https://palworld-db.com/pal/tocotoco) is the pick for exactly that reason — Gathering 1 is its entire work profile and there are 918 spawn points to grab one from, so nothing else in your camp misses it. [Smokie](https://palworld-db.com/pal/smokie) and [Loupmoon](https://palworld-db.com/pal/loupmoon) are the same idea one tier up. Avoid staffing it with anything that has three or more suitabilities; the stall does not care how good the worker is, and your Handiwork line does.

| Pal | Work suitabilities | Spawn points | Why it works here |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Tocotoco](https://palworld-db.com/pal/tocotoco) | Gathering 1 | 918 | The single narrowest worker in the game — nothing else wants it |
| [Smokie](https://palworld-db.com/pal/smokie) | Gathering 2 | 1,620 | Everywhere on the map and easy to spare |
| [Mimog](https://palworld-db.com/pal/mimog) | Gathering 1, Transporting 2 | 5,302 | The most common Pal on the island by spawn count |
| [Loupmoon](https://palworld-db.com/pal/loupmoon) | Handiwork 2 | 1,109 | Only if your Handiwork bench is already covered |
| [Grintale](https://palworld-db.com/pal/grintale) | Gathering 3 | 619 | A fine stall-sitter once you have a better gatherer |

## Flea Market (Pals) vs Flea Market (Items)

The two stalls are near-identical builds: same level 22 unlock, same 2 points, same 9,000 workload, same 4,000 HP, same single worker slot. Only the third material differs — 5 [Paldium Fragment](https://palworld-db.com/item/Pal_crystal_S) here against 3 [Cloth](https://palworld-db.com/item/Cloth) on the item version — which makes the Pal stall about 1,090 Gold cheaper in materials and saves you the Wool run entirely.

Build both if you can afford the points, but if you only have two spare, this is the one. Items have alternatives — a merchant will buy your surplus at a sane rate, and you can always farm more. Pals do not: the 20:1 merchant markdown means a bred Pal has no reasonable outlet anywhere else in the game. The trade-off is risk, and it only runs one way. Unsold items stay in your stock; a sold Pal is somebody else's forever. Full costs for the other stall are on our [Flea Market (Items) guide](https://palworld-db.com/guides/how-to-get-flea-market-items).

| Spec | [[structicon:PalBooth|Flea Market (Pals)]] | [[structicon:ItemBooth|Flea Market (Items)]] |

| Build workload | 9,000 | 9,000 |
| Durability | 4,000 HP | 4,000 HP |
| What it lists | Pals from your box, shown to buyers with their level | Items from your inventory, with a stock count |
| Risk | Sold Pals cannot be recovered | None — unsold stock stays yours |

## Is Flea Market (Pals) Worth Building?

On a solo world, no — spend the 2 points on the [Pal Expedition Station](https://palworld-db.com/expeditions) instead and come back to this when you have company. On a shared world it is one of the best-value builds in the game: 42 Ore, 40 Wood, 20 Fiber and five blue rocks turn your breeding pen into a business, and it is the only place a bred Pal fetches more than merchant scrap. Put it by the entrance, staff it with a spare [Tocotoco](https://palworld-db.com/pal/tocotoco), list the passive-stacked leftovers your breeding runs keep producing, and empty the till on the way past.
