# Lightweight Hexolite Armor Schematic Location and Stats

Where the Legendary Lightweight Hexolite Armor schematic drops in Palworld — the flat 3% off Paladius, the oil rig and tier 5 dig pools, why no supply drop stocks it, the 600 defence stat card at Tech Lv 65, and the full 470-material craft built on 100 Hexolite.

**Lightweight Hexolite Armor** is the top rung of the Hexolite ladder at Technology Lv 65, it carries 600 defence and 1,750 HP, and it is the only carry-weight body in the game below Tech Lv 79 that also holds **Heat 2 and Cold 2**. Its Legendary schematic is the odd one out of the five Hexolite lines too: no supply drop anywhere stocks it, but it is one of only two in the family with a Pal you can kill on repeat — [Paladius](https://palworld-db.com/pal/paladius) at a flat **3%**. This guide has the full stat card, all three routes, the Paladius fight, the Drafting Table maths, and the whole 470-unit craft.

## Lightweight Hexolite Armor Stats

Three Hexolite bodies share the exact same **600 / 1,750 / 18,000** block, so the stat table is not where this suit wins or loses. The passive line is. It is the only one of the three that keeps **both** temperature ratings at 2 while adding a carry-weight bonus on top — the heat suit trades Cold down, the cold suit trades Heat down, and this one trades nothing at all. What it costs instead is metal: **100 Hexolite**, double what any other armor recipe in Palworld asks for.

| Stat | Lightweight Hexolite Armor |
| --- | --- |
| Slot | Body armor |
| Defence | **600** |
| HP bonus | **1,750** |
| Durability | 18,000 |
| Weight | 35 |
| Passives | **Max Inventory Weight up 3** · Heat 2 · Cold 2 |
| Technology level | **Lv 65**, 5 Technology Points |
| Earlier in the line | [Hexolite Armor](https://palworld-db.com/item/SFArmor) at Tech Lv 59 |
| Crafting station | Production Assembly Line II (unlocks at Lv 42) |
| Crafting work | 1,200,000 — the highest in the Hexolite set |
| Legendary schematic | [Lightweight Hexolite Armor Schematic 4](https://palworld-db.com/item/Blueprint_SFArmorWeight_5) |
| Item value | **460,800 Gold** — the most valuable Hexolite piece |

Defence is only meaningful measured against other armor, so read 600 against the body slot rather than against any weapon's attack number. Inside that class it ties the heat and cold Hexolite suits for the highest figure you can reach without Ancient technology, and sits 240 under [Lightweight Ancient Armor](https://palworld-db.com/item/AncientArmorWeight) fourteen tech levels later. The capacity bonus lands at **rank 3**, the same rank [Lightweight Plasteel Armor](https://palworld-db.com/item/PlasticArmorWeight) already gives at Tech Lv 55 — Pocketpair has never published the kilograms behind each rank, so compare by rank and not by a number. That equal rank is exactly why the temperature line matters: the Plasteel version sits on Heat 1 · Cold 1, so climbing to Hexolite buys you the same carrying capacity in places the earlier suit can't survive.

## Where the Legendary Schematic Drops

The short version: **three sources, and one of them is a boss you can farm forever.** [Paladius](https://palworld-db.com/pal/paladius) pays it at a flat 3%, crates on the large oil rig roll it, and tier 5 treasure map digs roll it. What is missing is the whole reason this line behaves differently from its siblings — **no supply drop region stocks any tier of it**, while the plain, heat, cold and helmet versions all sit in the Feybreak pool. There is no percentage to camp for and no chest sweep to run; there is a fight.

| Schematic | Crafts | Paladius | Large oil rig crates | Tier 5 treasure digs |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Schematic 1](https://palworld-db.com/item/Blueprint_SFArmorWeight_2) | Uncommon | — | Yes | **No** |
| [Schematic 2](https://palworld-db.com/item/Blueprint_SFArmorWeight_3) | Rare | — | Yes | Yes |
| [Schematic 3](https://palworld-db.com/item/Blueprint_SFArmorWeight_4) | Epic | — | Yes | Yes |
| [Schematic 4](https://palworld-db.com/item/Blueprint_SFArmorWeight_5) | **Legendary** | **3%** | Yes | Yes |

Read the top row and the bottom row together, because they invert the usual advice. **The Uncommon is the hardest tier to find here** — it has exactly one pool, since digs skip it and Paladius only ever pays the Legendary. The Legendary has three. That means the cheap schematics you would normally stockpile for combining are the ones you'll see least, and the expensive one has a repeatable source, which flips the whole plan on this line. One practical note while you're looting: every schematic in the game sits in your bag as the same rolled scroll, so the rarity border is the only tell between those four at a glance, which is why this page shows the armor and its materials wherever it can.

### Paladius, the Only Pal That Drops It

[Paladius](https://palworld-db.com/pal/paladius) is a **level 60 Alpha with a single fixed pin**, it has no wild spawns anywhere on the map, and the schematic it carries is the highest-tier armor schematic any boss in Palworld hands out. The 3% is the standard rate — every armor Legendary schematic with a Pal source sits at exactly 3% — so plan on **roughly 33 kills on average** and treat anything faster as luck. The good news is that the other two lines on its loot table are 100%, which makes the trip worth repeating even on the 97% of runs that pay no paper.

| Paladius | Detail |
| --- | --- |
| Element | **Neutral** — weak to Dark, strong against nothing |
| Alpha level | **60** |
| Where | **One fixed spawn**, present day and night — [see the pin on the map](https://palworld-db.com/map?pal=SaintCentaur) |
| Wild spawns | None — the Alpha or breeding, nothing else |
| Base stats | 130 HP · 110 melee · 120 shot · **145 defence** |
| Partner skill | Holy Knight of the Firmament |
| [Lightweight Hexolite Armor Schematic 4](https://palworld-db.com/item/Blueprint_SFArmorWeight_5) | **3%**, 1 per kill |
| [Ancient Civilization Parts](https://palworld-db.com/item/PalCrystal_Ex) | **100%**, 6-8 per kill |
| [Precious Entrails](https://palworld-db.com/item/PalItem_ToSell_03) | **100%**, 6-8 per kill — merchants list these at 12,500 Gold each |

Those two guaranteed lines are the real argument for a repeat farm. **Legendary armor recipes fold in [Ancient Civilization Parts](https://palworld-db.com/item/PalCrystal_Ex)** — the measured Legendary Pal Metal Armor asks for 5 — so a single Paladius kill covers the surcharge on the very schematic you're hunting, and 6-8 Precious Entrails on top is pure vendor income. Its 145 base defence is the highest number on its own stat block, so expect a longer fight than the damage figures suggest, and bring something Dark. The [full Alpha Pal database](https://palworld-db.com/alpha-pals) lists every field boss with its multipliers, and [the Alpha hunting route by level](https://palworld-db.com/guides/alpha-hunting-by-level) covers the order to take them in.

### Its Moveset Is Half Ice

Here is the part that catches people out: **Paladius is a Neutral Pal that fights like an Ice one.** Four of the nine moves it has learned by level 60 are Ice, including both of its heaviest hitters outside the melee charge. That means Dark damage is what you bring to kill it, but Ice mitigation is what keeps you alive — and the [Cold Resistant Hexolite Armor](https://palworld-db.com/item/SFArmorCold) you may already own carries an Ice damage cut this suit does not.

| Move | Element | Power | Cooldown | What it is |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Absolute Frost | **Ice** | **700** | 30s | Its biggest ranged hit — close range up to 3,000, so backing off does not save you |
| Holy Burst | Neutral | **700** | 30s | Unlocked at level 60 exactly — the last move an Alpha has |
| Spear Thrust | Neutral | **700** | 30s | **Melee** charge up to 2,500 — the one to sidestep |
| Blizzard Spike | **Ice** | 450 | 20s | Long-range spam from 1,000 to 5,000 |
| Pal Blast | Neutral | 450 | 20s | Short-range burst, 500 to 1,800 |
| Iceberg | **Ice** | 120 | 8s | Filler, but it reaches 5,000 |
| Power Bomb | Neutral | 120 | 8s | Filler |
| Ice Missile | **Ice** | 40 | 2s | Chip damage on a 2-second cooldown |
| Power Shot | Neutral | 80 | 4s | Chip damage |

One detail worth knowing before you queue the fight: **Radiant Barrage, its 700-power level 70 move, is not on this list**, because the Alpha caps at 60. So the ceiling of what it can throw at you is the three 30-second moves above, and all three are dodgeable — the melee thrust by moving sideways, the two big casts by breaking line of sight on the cooldown. The Ice Missile is what actually kills careless players, since a 2-second cooldown means it never stops. Every move in the game is on the [Palworld active skills list](https://palworld-db.com/active-skills) with its power and cooldown.

### Necromus Shares the Exact Same Spawn

This is the single most useful thing on the page if you are planning a trip. [Necromus](https://palworld-db.com/pal/necromus) sits on **the identical coordinates as Paladius, day and night**, and it drops [Hexolite Helmet](https://palworld-db.com/item/SFHelmet) Schematic 4 at the same flat 3%. One location, two of the five Legendary Hexolite schematics, and they are the only two in the family a boss will ever give you. If you are farming here at all, you are farming both.

| Pal | Element | Legendary schematic | Rate | Armor tech |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Paladius](https://palworld-db.com/pal/paladius) | Neutral | [Lightweight Hexolite Armor Schematic 4](https://palworld-db.com/item/Blueprint_SFArmorWeight_5) | **3%** | **65** |
| [Necromus](https://palworld-db.com/pal/necromus) | **Dark** | [Hexolite Helmet Schematic 4](https://palworld-db.com/item/Blueprint_SFHelmet_5) | **3%** | 60 |

There is a neat loop in that pairing. Necromus is **Dark**, which is precisely the element Paladius is weak to, and its **145 shot attack** is among the highest any Dark Pal carries — only [Bellanoir](https://palworld-db.com/pal/bellanoir) at 150 beats it outright, with [Frostallion Noct](https://palworld-db.com/pal/frostallion-noct) on 140 and [Shadowbeak](https://palworld-db.com/pal/shadowbeak) on 120 behind. Catch the Necromus first and it becomes the best thing you can point at the Paladius standing next to it. The rest of the Hexolite line — the plain body, the heat suit and the cold suit — has no boss whatsoever, so those three come down to Feybreak supply rolls and chest sweeps instead; the [heat Hexolite schematic guide](https://palworld-db.com/guides/heat-resistant-hexolite-armor-legendary-schematic) and the [cold Hexolite schematic guide](https://palworld-db.com/guides/cold-resistant-hexolite-armor-legendary-schematic) have those numbers.

### Oil Rig Crates and Tier 5 Digs

The two loot pools are worth running for different reasons. **Oil rig crates are the only place the Uncommon exists**, so if you intend to combine anything at all, that is where the fuel comes from — and the same crates are the biggest [Crude Oil](https://palworld-db.com/item/CrudeOil) payout in the game, which this recipe needs 40 of. Tier 5 digs are the passive trickle you collect while doing treasure maps anyway, and they feed the middle and top of the ladder only.

| Route | Which tiers | Map | Why bother |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Paladius](https://palworld-db.com/pal/paladius) (Alpha Lv 60) | **Legendary only** | [One fixed pin](https://palworld-db.com/map?pal=SaintCentaur) | **3% flat, repeatable** — plus 6-8 Ancient Civilization Parts every kill |
| Crates on the large oil rig | **All four** | [185 oil field pins](https://palworld-db.com/map?layers=oilfield) | The **only** source of Schematic 1, and it pays the Crude Oil too |
| Treasure map digs (tier 5) | Schematic 2, 3 and 4 | — | Fully passive, but never gives the Uncommon |

If you only have time for one of the three, take the Alpha. A 3% roll on a repeatable fight beats a shared crate pool that also has to hand out weapon schematics, accessories and materials, and the guaranteed drops mean a dry run still pays. Rig runs are the right call when you are short on **Crude Oil** rather than short on paper, and digs are free value you should never make a special trip for. Every chest, crate and node layer is on the [Palworld interactive map](https://palworld-db.com/map), and [the full schematic database](https://palworld-db.com/schematics) lists which pools carry every other line.

## Every Armor Schematic a Boss Actually Drops

Eight Legendary armor schematics in the whole game have a Pal source, and **every single one is exactly 3%**. Lining them up shows why the Paladius fight is worth a trip even when you don't need the suit: it is the highest-tech entry on the list by five levels, and everything above it in the armor tree — Pal Metal, the entire Plasteel family, the plain, heat and cold Hexolite bodies, and all of Ancient — has no boss at all.

| Legendary schematic | Crafts at tech | Pal | Alpha level | Rate |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Lightweight Hexolite Armor Schematic 4](https://palworld-db.com/item/Blueprint_SFArmorWeight_5) | **65** | [Paladius](https://palworld-db.com/pal/paladius) | **60** | 3% |
| [Hexolite Helmet Schematic 4](https://palworld-db.com/item/Blueprint_SFHelmet_5) | 60 | [Necromus](https://palworld-db.com/pal/necromus) | Shares Paladius's site | 3% |
| [Cold Resistant Refined Metal Armor Schematic 4](https://palworld-db.com/item/Blueprint_IronArmorCold_5) | 41 | [Menasting](https://palworld-db.com/pal/menasting) | 44 | 3% |
| [Heat Resistant Refined Metal Armor Schematic 4](https://palworld-db.com/item/Blueprint_IronArmorHeat_5) | 40 | [Astegon](https://palworld-db.com/pal/astegon) | 55 | 3% |
| [Metal Armor Schematic 4](https://palworld-db.com/item/Blueprint_CopperArmor_5) | 23 | [Kingpaca](https://palworld-db.com/pal/kingpaca) | 23 | 3% |
| [Metal Helm Schematic 4](https://palworld-db.com/item/Blueprint_CopperHelmet_5) | 23 | [Bushi](https://palworld-db.com/pal/bushi) | 25 | 3% |
| [Feathered Hair Band Schematic 4](https://palworld-db.com/item/Blueprint_FurHelmet_5) | 10 | [Penking](https://palworld-db.com/pal/penking) | 15 | 3% |
| [Cloth Outfit Schematic 4](https://palworld-db.com/item/Blueprint_ClothArmor_5) | 4 | [Chillet](https://palworld-db.com/pal/chillet) | 11 | 3% |

There is a gap in that table you can plan around. Six of the eight sit at Tech Lv 41 or below, which means they are early-game paper you will have blown past long before you can wear the results — and then nothing until the two Hexolite entries at 60 and 65. **If a boss-farmable Legendary body armor is what you want at the endgame, this is the only one there is.** Worth noting for the [Penking](https://palworld-db.com/pal/penking) row too: the Feathered Hair Band is a **head** slot piece that also raises carrying capacity, so it stacks with this body rather than competing with it. The [best Legendary schematics guide](https://palworld-db.com/guides/best-legendary-schematics) ranks the whole set by what they're actually worth building.

## Build It Instead: The Drafting Table Ladder

The **Drafting Table** unlocks at Technology Lv 45 for 4 Technology Points and turns **five identical schematics into one of the next rarity up**. On most armor lines that's the main plan. Here it is the fallback, and the arithmetic says so plainly: 125 Uncommons out of a single shared crate pool against **about 33 kills on a 3% boss** is not a close contest.

| Target | Combine cost | Equivalent in Schematic 1s | Only source of that tier |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Schematic 2](https://palworld-db.com/item/Blueprint_SFArmorWeight_3) | 5× [Schematic 1](https://palworld-db.com/item/Blueprint_SFArmorWeight_2) | 5 | Oil rig crates |
| [Schematic 3](https://palworld-db.com/item/Blueprint_SFArmorWeight_4) | 5× [Schematic 2](https://palworld-db.com/item/Blueprint_SFArmorWeight_3) | 25 | Oil rig crates |
| [Schematic 4 (Legendary)](https://palworld-db.com/item/Blueprint_SFArmorWeight_5) | 5× [Schematic 3](https://palworld-db.com/item/Blueprint_SFArmorWeight_4) | **125** | Oil rig crates |

So use the table the way it was meant to be used on this line — to close a last gap, not to walk the whole ladder. **Never burn Uncommons early**, because rig crates are their only source and you will want them if a lucky Epic ever leaves you one short. Tier 5 digs feed the middle of the ladder for free while you do treasure maps, so those are your best combining fuel, and the boss covers the top. The table itself costs 20 [Refined Ingot](https://palworld-db.com/item/IronIngot), 10 [High Quality Wooden Board](https://palworld-db.com/item/HighGrade_Processed_Wood) and 30 [Charcoal](https://palworld-db.com/item/Charcoal); the [schematic upgrade guide](https://palworld-db.com/guides/how-to-upgrade-schematics) has the full combining rules.

> **Tip.** Craft the Common version the day you hit Tech 65 instead of waiting on a rarity roll. **Every tier of this armor grants the identical rank 3 carry-weight passive and the same Heat 2 · Cold 2** — rarity moves defence, HP and durability, nothing else — so a Common suit you are wearing tonight carries exactly as much as a Legendary schematic you have not found. And start the Paladius farm early regardless: 6-8 [Ancient Civilization Parts](https://palworld-db.com/item/PalCrystal_Ex) at 100% per kill is the material every Legendary recipe in the game adds on top.

## How to Craft Lightweight Hexolite Armor

Four lines on the **Production Assembly Line II** for 1,200,000 work. The bench is not the problem — it lands 23 levels early. The **Gigantic Furnace at Tech Lv 58** is, and on this recipe more than any other, because **100 Hexolite is double what any other armor in Palworld asks for** and Hexolite is smelted nowhere else. Everything below that first row is a rounding error by comparison.

| Material | Qty | Made at / from |
| --- | --- | --- |
| [Hexolite](https://palworld-db.com/item/StainlessSteel) | **100** | Gigantic Furnace (Tech Lv 58) — 1 [Chromite](https://palworld-db.com/item/Chromium) + 1 [Hexolite Quartz](https://palworld-db.com/item/RainbowCrystal) each |
| [Plasteel](https://palworld-db.com/item/Plastic) | 20 | Electric Furnace (Tech Lv 44) — 2 [Crude Oil](https://palworld-db.com/item/CrudeOil) + 5 [Ore](https://palworld-db.com/item/CopperOre) each |
| [High Quality Cloth](https://palworld-db.com/item/Cloth2) | 10 | Tech Lv 36 — 10 [Wool](https://palworld-db.com/item/Wool) + 1 [Leather](https://palworld-db.com/item/Leather) each |
| [Corrosive Solvent](https://palworld-db.com/item/Corrosive_Solvent) | 10 | Production Assembly Line (Tech Lv 29) — 1 [Venom Gland](https://palworld-db.com/item/Venom) + 1 [Sulfur](https://palworld-db.com/item/Sulfur) each |

Trace all four lines down to things you mine, shear, buy or pull off a corpse and one suit is **470 raw units** — the most expensive armor in the Hexolite family and comfortably so, against 390 for the [heat suit](https://palworld-db.com/item/SFArmorHeat), 370 for the [cold suit](https://palworld-db.com/item/SFArmorCold) and 350 for the plain [Hexolite Armor](https://palworld-db.com/item/SFArmor). The 200 units of Chromite and Hexolite Quartz are the entire story; the extra 10 [Corrosive Solvent](https://palworld-db.com/item/Corrosive_Solvent) this variant adds over the plain body is trivial next to it.

| Raw material | Total for one suit | Where to get it |
| --- | --- | --- |
| [Chromite](https://palworld-db.com/item/Chromium) | **100** | Feybreak supply drops (30-40 at 100%) · expeditions · Metal Detector digs |
| [Hexolite Quartz](https://palworld-db.com/item/RainbowCrystal) | **100** | [635 nodes on the map](https://palworld-db.com/map?layers=res_hexolitequartz) |
| [Ore](https://palworld-db.com/item/CopperOre) | **100** | [1,632 nodes on the map](https://palworld-db.com/map?layers=res_copperore) |
| [Wool](https://palworld-db.com/item/Wool) | **100** | [Kingpaca](https://palworld-db.com/pal/kingpaca) 5 · [Sweepa](https://palworld-db.com/pal/sweepa) 3-5 · [Melpaca](https://palworld-db.com/pal/melpaca) 2-5, all 100% · shops at 200 Gold |
| [Crude Oil](https://palworld-db.com/item/CrudeOil) | 40 | [185 oil fields](https://palworld-db.com/map?layers=oilfield) · 100% from six supply regions |
| [Leather](https://palworld-db.com/item/Leather) | 10 | [Mammorest](https://palworld-db.com/pal/mammorest) pays 5-10 at 100% · shops at 200 Gold |
| [Venom Gland](https://palworld-db.com/item/Venom) | 10 | [Menasting](https://palworld-db.com/pal/menasting) pays 5-10 at 100% · shops at 300 Gold |
| [Sulfur](https://palworld-db.com/item/Sulfur) | 10 | [655 nodes](https://palworld-db.com/map?layers=res_sulfur) · [Pierdon](https://palworld-db.com/pal/pierdon) 4-5 at 100% — **no vendor sells it** |

Now the number that decides how long this actually takes, and it is not at the bench. **Smelting one Hexolite is 500,000 work, so the 100 this recipe needs is 50,000,000 on its own** — against 4,000,000 for the Plasteel, 150,000 for the solvent, 25,000 for the cloth and 1,200,000 for the armor itself. End to end a single suit is roughly **55,375,000 work units, and 90% of it happens inside the Gigantic Furnace**. That is the most expensive armor in the Hexolite family by a wide margin — the heat suit is about 33 million — and the fix is never a bigger assembly line. It is more Kindling Pals on the furnace, and starting the smelt long before you go schematic hunting. [The best base Pals for every job](https://palworld-db.com/guides/best-base-pals) covers who to station where.

### One Hundred Hexolite Is the Whole Job

Hexolite is an alloy of two materials that behave nothing alike, and only one of them is on the map. **Hexolite Quartz is a mining node** — 635 of them, cleared like any other ore, and this recipe wants 100. **Chromite is not on the map at all**; it is a supply-drop staple, a Metal Detector find, an expedition payout and a Pal drop, which is why three Feybreak drops will do more for you than an afternoon of digging.

| Source | Gives | Amount | Notes |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Feybreak supply drops | [Chromite](https://palworld-db.com/item/Chromium) | **30-40** | **100% on every drop** — three drops covers a whole suit |
| Dark Cave of Feybreak expedition | [Chromite](https://palworld-db.com/item/Chromium) | **30-50** | Hard, 60 minutes — the best hands-off rate in the game |
| Ancient Feybreak Ruins expedition | [Chromite](https://palworld-db.com/item/Chromium) | 10-20 | Very Hard, 120 minutes |
| [Smokie](https://palworld-db.com/pal/smokie) | [Chromite](https://palworld-db.com/item/Chromium) | 1-2 | 100%, and it spawns almost everywhere — the easy repeatable |
| [Silvegis](https://palworld-db.com/pal/silvegis) | [Chromite](https://palworld-db.com/item/Chromium) | **2-3** | 100%, but no wild spawns — breeding or Alpha only |
| Field drops in the Sunreach Isle | [Chromite](https://palworld-db.com/item/Chromium) | 1-5 | Picked up as you walk |
| Hexolite Quartz nodes | [Hexolite Quartz](https://palworld-db.com/item/RainbowCrystal) | — | [635 pins on the map](https://palworld-db.com/map?layers=res_hexolitequartz) |
| Ancient Feybreak Ruins expedition | [Hexolite Quartz](https://palworld-db.com/item/RainbowCrystal) | 10-20 | Very Hard, 120 minutes |

Put **Dark Cave of Feybreak** on a permanent loop and Chromite stops being a bottleneck at 30-50 an hour for no input. That leaves the quartz as the real time cost, and there is no shortcut for it — 100 nodes' worth per suit, so bring a Mining team and clear whole clusters rather than picking at them. Both expeditions are listed with their payouts on the [Palworld expeditions page](https://palworld-db.com/expeditions), and the [supply drop loot pools](https://palworld-db.com/supply-drops) page has every region's full table if you want to see what else the Feybreak run pays.

### The Cloth and Solvent Lines Are Just Money

One quarter of this recipe's raw cost never needs to be farmed at all. The [High Quality Cloth](https://palworld-db.com/item/Cloth2) and [Corrosive Solvent](https://palworld-db.com/item/Corrosive_Solvent) lines together come to 120 of the 470 raw units, and **three of their four ingredients are on merchant shelves**. At Tech 65 the Gold is meaningless, so buying them out deletes the entire combat half of the shopping list in one visit.

| Raw material | Qty | Shop price | If you'd rather farm it |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Wool](https://palworld-db.com/item/Wool) | **100** | 200 Gold each — **20,000 total** | [Kingpaca](https://palworld-db.com/pal/kingpaca) 5 · [Sweepa](https://palworld-db.com/pal/sweepa) 3-5 · [Melpaca](https://palworld-db.com/pal/melpaca) 2-5, all 100% |
| [Leather](https://palworld-db.com/item/Leather) | 10 | 200 Gold each — 2,000 total | [Mammorest](https://palworld-db.com/pal/mammorest) pays 5-10 at 100% |
| [Venom Gland](https://palworld-db.com/item/Venom) | 10 | 300 Gold each — 3,000 total | [Menasting](https://palworld-db.com/pal/menasting) pays 5-10 at 100% |
| [Sulfur](https://palworld-db.com/item/Sulfur) | 10 | **Not sold anywhere** | [655 nodes](https://palworld-db.com/map?layers=res_sulfur) · Blazing Cavern expedition pays 20-40 in 45 minutes |

**25,000 Gold covers three of those four rows outright**, and that is a rounding error this deep into the game — [farming Gold](https://palworld-db.com/guides/how-to-farm-gold) is a solved problem by Tech 65, and one Paladius kill's worth of Precious Entrails is already in that range. [Sulfur](https://palworld-db.com/item/Sulfur) is the exception with no vendor at all, so it is the 655 map nodes or a **Blazing Cavern** run, which is only a Normal expedition at 45 minutes for 20-40 — the fastest Sulfur in the game and easily enough for several suits. [What to buy from merchants](https://palworld-db.com/guides/what-to-buy-from-merchants) covers which vendors are worth a standing visit.

## Can You Even Build It Yet?

Technology Lv 65 is the headline, but eight supporting nodes sit under it and two of them bring a serious power bill. Work down this list before you go schematic hunting, because a Legendary in your bag does nothing until the furnace chain exists to feed it. The eight required ones come to **26 Technology Points** before the armor's own 5, all of them the ordinary kind rather than the Ancient points you pry out of tower bosses.

| Requirement | Unlocks at | Why you need it |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Production Assembly Line | Tech Lv 29, 3 points | Where the Corrosive Solvent is actually made |
| [High Quality Cloth](https://palworld-db.com/item/Cloth2) | Tech Lv 36, 2 points | 10 per suit |
| [Corrosive Solvent](https://palworld-db.com/item/Corrosive_Solvent) | Tech Lv 37, 2 points | 10 per suit — **and 5 more just to build the bench below** |
| Production Assembly Line II | Tech Lv 42, 5 points | The bench the armor is built on — 100 [Refined Ingot](https://palworld-db.com/item/IronIngot) + 10 [Circuit Board](https://palworld-db.com/item/MachineParts2) + 30 [Cement](https://palworld-db.com/item/Cement) + 5 [Corrosive Solvent](https://palworld-db.com/item/Corrosive_Solvent), 400 power |
| Electric Furnace | Tech Lv 44, 5 points | Plasteel — 20 per suit, **plus 150 more to build the furnace below** |
| Drafting Table | Tech Lv 45, 4 points | Optional — combining schematics upward, twenty levels early |
| [Plasteel](https://palworld-db.com/item/Plastic) | Tech Lv 50, 2 points | The recipe line and the Gigantic Furnace's biggest cost |
| Gigantic Furnace | Tech Lv 58, 5 points | **The real gate** — 150 [Plasteel](https://palworld-db.com/item/Plastic) + 100 [Polymer](https://palworld-db.com/item/Polymer) + 200 [Flame Organ](https://palworld-db.com/item/FireOrgan) + 12 [Computer](https://palworld-db.com/item/Computer), and **1,500 power** |
| [Hexolite](https://palworld-db.com/item/StainlessSteel) | Tech Lv 58, 2 points | **100 per suit** — smelted nowhere else |
| [Metal Detector](https://palworld-db.com/item/MetalDetector) | Tech Lv 58, 3 points | Optional — digging [Chromite](https://palworld-db.com/item/Chromium) outside supply drops |
| **Lightweight Hexolite Armor** | **Tech Lv 65**, 5 points | The recipe itself |

Two rows decide the pace. The **Gigantic Furnace costs 150 Plasteel to place**, so the Electric Furnace has to be running at volume before you can build the thing that makes Hexolite — a dependency loop that catches almost everyone once. And at **1,500 power** it is one of the heaviest draws you will ever put on a base, so the generators come before the schematic, not after it. If you reach Tech 59 with the furnace up and no Lightweight schematic in sight, put down the plain [Hexolite Armor](https://palworld-db.com/item/SFArmor) immediately: 580 defence for half the metal, six levels earlier. The whole tree is on the [Palworld technology page](https://palworld-db.com/tech), and [the best research to rush](https://palworld-db.com/guides/best-research-to-rush) covers the order.

## Lightweight vs the Rest of the Hexolite Set

Four body armors and one helmet make up the Hexolite family across seven tech levels, and **three of the four bodies share an identical 600 / 1,750 / 18,000 stat block**. What separates them is the passive line and the fourth material, so this is a pick-by-need decision rather than a pick-by-number one — and this one is the last to unlock and the most expensive by a distance.

| Piece | Tech | Defence | HP | Durability | Weight | Passives | Hexolite | Raw units |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Hexolite Armor](https://palworld-db.com/item/SFArmor) | 59 | 580 | 1,750 | **20,000** | 40 | Heat 2 · Cold 2 | 50 | 350 |
| [Hexolite Helmet](https://palworld-db.com/item/SFHelmet) | 60 | 350 | 800 | **20,000** | 15 | — (head slot) | 40 | — |
| [Heat Resistant Hexolite Armor](https://palworld-db.com/item/SFArmorHeat) | 63 | **600** | 1,750 | 18,000 | 35 | **Heat 3** · Cold 2 · Fire cut | 50 | 390 |
| [Cold Resistant Hexolite Armor](https://palworld-db.com/item/SFArmorCold) | 64 | **600** | 1,750 | 18,000 | 35 | **Cold 3** · Heat 2 · Ice cut | 50 | 370 |
| [Lightweight Hexolite Armor](https://palworld-db.com/item/SFArmorWeight) | **65** | **600** | 1,750 | 18,000 | 35 | **Carry weight 3** · Heat 2 · Cold 2 | **100** | **470** |

Read the Hexolite column before the stat columns. **This suit costs as much metal as two of any other**, which in furnace time means 50,000,000 work against their 25,000,000 — so it is genuinely the one to build last. Pick it if you spend your time mining, hauling and base-building, because nothing else at this tier touches inventory capacity and it gives up no temperature protection to get there. Pick the [heat suit](https://palworld-db.com/item/SFArmorHeat) instead if Mount Obsidian or volcanic Feybreak is where you actually play, since Heat 3 is a rating you cannot work around, and the [cold suit](https://palworld-db.com/item/SFArmorCold) for the Astral Mountains. The plain [Hexolite Armor](https://palworld-db.com/item/SFArmor) keeps the full 20,000 durability and only gives up 20 defence, which makes it the low-maintenance pick if you don't care about either. [Every armor piece in the game](https://palworld-db.com/armor) is compared side by side on the armor database.

## Every Piece of Carry-Weight Gear in Palworld

Carrying capacity is a narrow passive — a handful of items in the game raise it, and they split across three slots that all stack with each other. Read the ranks rather than looking for a kilogram figure, because Pocketpair has never published what each rank is worth; the useful takeaway is that **this armor sits one rank below the ceiling and reaches it fourteen tech levels earlier than the only thing above it.**

| Gear | Slot | Rank | Tech | Where it comes from |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Lightweight Ancient Armor](https://palworld-db.com/item/AncientArmorWeight) | Body | **Rank 4** | **79** | 30 Paloxite Ingot + 7 AI Core + 50 Corrosive Solvent |
| [Lightweight Hexolite Armor](https://palworld-db.com/item/SFArmorWeight) | Body | Rank 3 | **65** | **Schematic drops from [Paladius](https://palworld-db.com/pal/paladius) at 3%** |
| [Lightweight Plasteel Armor](https://palworld-db.com/item/PlasticArmorWeight) | Body | Rank 3 | 55 | No boss and no supply drop — rigs, camps and digs only |
| [Islander's Tool Belt](https://palworld-db.com/item/Accessory_WKMC_1) | Accessory | **Rank 4** | — | Crafted, and rolls from Sunreach Isle treasure chests — also gives work speed |
| [Wandering Merchant Charm](https://palworld-db.com/item/Accessory_HCMW_1) | Accessory | **Rank 4** | — | Crafted, and rolls from Sunreach Isle treasure chests — also gives Heat 3 · Cold 3 |
| [Ring of Freight](https://palworld-db.com/item/Accessory_MaxWeightUp_01) | Accessory | Rank 3 | — | 25 Ingot + 20 Leather + 20 Horn + 3 Ancient Civilization Parts |
| [Feathered Hair Band](https://palworld-db.com/item/FurHelmet) | Head | Rank 1 | 10 | 10 Fiber + 1 Leather — [Penking](https://palworld-db.com/pal/penking) drops the Legendary schematic at 3% |

The practical build is to **stop thinking of these as competing**. A body armor, an accessory and a head piece all apply at once, so the real ceiling is this suit plus one of the rank 4 accessories plus the Feathered Hair Band — and the head piece costs 10 Fiber, which makes ignoring it indefensible. The [Wandering Merchant Charm](https://palworld-db.com/item/Accessory_HCMW_1) is the standout partner here because its Heat 3 · Cold 3 line is strictly better than anything the armor tree gives below Ancient, effectively letting a Lightweight body cover volcano and glacier trips too. Pals are the other half of the equation — [the best Pals for carrying more items](https://palworld-db.com/guides/best-pals-for-carrying-more-items) covers the partner skills that add capacity on top.

## What the Legendary Version Actually Gains

Rarity lifts the crafted armor's numbers, and [Pal Metal Armor](https://palworld-db.com/item/StealArmor) is the one body-armor family whose five rarity steps are all laid out in the game to be read directly. It climbs **220 → 286 → 308 → 330 → 352** defence and **750 → 975 → 1,050 → 1,125 → 1,200** HP — ×1.3, ×1.4, ×1.5 and ×1.6 of base on both. Pocketpair has never published the multipliers, so run that same curve through 600 and 1,750 and read the right-hand columns as close estimates rather than measured figures.

| Rarity | Pal Metal defence (measured) | HP | Lightweight Hexolite defence (estimated) | HP (estimated) |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Common | 220 | 750 | **600** | **1,750** |
| Uncommon | 286 | 975 | ~780 | ~2,275 |
| Rare | 308 | 1,050 | ~840 | ~2,450 |
| Epic | 330 | 1,125 | ~900 | ~2,625 |
| **Legendary** | **352** | **1,200** | **~960** | **~2,800** |

**600 and 1,750 are the only certain numbers in that table**, and the carry-weight rank does not move with rarity at all — it is rank 3 on a Common and rank 3 on a Legendary. The shape is still the pitch, though: at an estimated **~960 defence** a Legendary version of this suit at Tech Lv 65 would out-armor a Common [Lightweight Ancient Armor](https://palworld-db.com/item/AncientArmorWeight) at Tech Lv 79 while granting one rank less capacity — fourteen tech levels and an entire Paloxite Ingot chain, skipped. Budget for the recipe growing before you spend the paper, though. On the measured Pal Metal line the Legendary doubles the ingots from 20 to 40, adds 5 [Ancient Civilization Parts](https://palworld-db.com/item/PalCrystal_Ex) and takes the work from 150,000 to 4,800,000 — apply that shape here and you are looking at something in the region of **200 Hexolite**, which is another 50,000,000 work in the furnace. Bank the metal first, then combine.

## The Short Answer

No supply drop stocks it. The Legendary Lightweight Hexolite Armor schematic comes from **[Paladius](https://palworld-db.com/pal/paladius) at a flat 3%** — a level 60 Alpha on one fixed pin, sharing its spawn with [Necromus](https://palworld-db.com/pal/necromus), who pays the Hexolite Helmet schematic at the same rate — plus **crates on the large oil rig** and **tier 5 treasure map digs**. About 33 kills is the average, and every one of them also pays 6-8 [Ancient Civilization Parts](https://palworld-db.com/item/PalCrystal_Ex) and 6-8 [Precious Entrails](https://palworld-db.com/item/PalItem_ToSell_03) at 100%, so the farm is never wasted. Combining at the [Drafting Table](https://palworld-db.com/guides/how-to-upgrade-schematics) is the fallback here, not the plan, because 125 Uncommons come from rig crates alone. Then build the Common the moment you hit **Tech Lv 65** — 100 Chromite, 100 Hexolite Quartz, 100 Ore, 100 Wool, 40 Crude Oil, 10 Leather, 10 Venom Gland and 10 Sulfur, of which 25,000 Gold buys three lines outright. Start smelting early: the 100 Hexolite alone is 50,000,000 of the suit's 55,375,000 work. The rank 3 carry bonus and the Heat 2 · Cold 2 are identical at every rarity, so the suit you wear tonight holds exactly as much as the schematic you haven't found.
