Two rows matter for completionists. The 13 night-only Pals won't appear no matter how long you run a daytime loop, and the 30 with no field spawn need a specific fight, cavern or breeding pair. Both groups are called out in the tables below and collected again in their own section, so you can plan the stragglers in one trip.

## How Paldeck Numbers and Variants Work

Variants keep the base number because they share a body with the original and only swap the element, and the name suffix tells you which way it went. Cryst is Ice (17 of them), Ignis is Fire (15), Noct is Dark (15), Lux is Electric (11), Terra is Ground (10), Primo is Neutral (5), Botan is Grass (4) and Aqua is Water (4). [Dumud Gild](https://palworld-db.com/pal/dumud-gild), [Blazamut Ryu](https://palworld-db.com/pal/blazamut-ryu) and [Bellanoir Libero](https://palworld-db.com/pal/bellanoir-libero) are the three one-off suffixes.

The awkward one is [Mau](https://palworld-db.com/pal/mau), which only turns up inside three dungeon caverns, so it's worth grabbing on your next cave run rather than hunting the overworld. > **Tip.** Save the last range for later. The 16 no-spawn Pals from No. 176 to 204 are all endgame fights, and the Alphas among them run from Lv 60 to Lv 79. Clear everything below No. 176 first; by then you'll have the level and spheres to catch the rest.

The Palworld Paldeck has **288 Pals**: 204 numbered base Pals plus 84 B-number variants. 258 of them spawn somewhere on the map, 13 of those only at night, and the last 30 come from Alphas, raids, tower and World Tree bosses, two dungeons and Snowfields raid herds.
