Palworld has exactly 7 Neutral Skill Fruits — the smallest set of any element — and one of them teaches the single hardest-hitting skill any fruit in the game can give you. This guide covers all 7 with power, cooldown and damage per second, the Battle Ticket and Gold prices, the chest odds region by region, and the part most players get wrong: which of these moves your Pals were going to learn for free anyway.

## All 7 Neutral Skill Fruits

There are 93 Skill Fruits in Palworld and only 7 are Neutral, which makes it the thinnest element pool on the list — Ground and Dragon have 8 each, Electric has 14. Neutral also has the fewest Rare fruits of any element at just two, and that shortage cuts both ways: fewer options to chase, but the two Rares are excellent. [Holy Burst](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_HolyBlast) at 700 power is tied with Ice's Absolute Frost for the strongest skill any fruit teaches — every other element tops out at 600 — and [Pal Blast](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_HyperBeam) has the best damage over time of the seven at 22.5 per second. The bottom of the list is filler: [Air Cannon](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_AirCanon) and [Power Shot](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_PowerShot) are moves most Pals already know before you ever see the fruit.

| Skill Fruit | Power | Cooldown | Damage/sec | Rarity | Why bring it |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Holy Burst](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_HolyBlast) | 700 | 30s | 23.3 | Rare | Tied for the hardest single cast of any Skill Fruit; a wide light blast centred on the target |
| [Pal Blast](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_HyperBeam) | 450 | 20s | 22.5 | Rare | Best sustained damage in the element — a wide forward beam after a short charge |
| [Implode](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_SelfDestruct) | 300 | 16s | 18.8 | Uncommon | Point-blank suicide blast that also burns; your Pal is out of the fight afterwards |
| [Air Blade](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_AirBlade) | 160 | 8s | 20.0 | Uncommon | Fan of air blades out to 5,000 range — the reach pick on a short timer |
| [Power Bomb](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_PowerBall) | 120 | 8s | 15.0 | Uncommon | Slow charged ball; the weakest damage per second of the seven |
| [Power Shot](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_PowerShot) | 80 | 4s | 20.0 | Common | Cheap 4-second filler, and 19 Pals already know it at level 1 |
| [Air Cannon](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_AirCanon) | 40 | 2s | 20.0 | Common | Fastest chip damage here — 34 Pals learn it at level 1 without a fruit |

One quirk to watch in your inventory: every other element spells itself out in the item name — "Fire Skill Fruit: Fire Ball", "Dark Skill Fruit: Apocalypse" — but the Neutral ones are just "Skill Fruit: Holy Burst" with no element word at all. They also all share the same pale fruit art, so tooltips are the only way to tell them apart on the ground. The sortable [Palworld Skill Fruit database](https://palworld-db.com/skill-fruits) matches every fruit to its move if you'd rather check before you feed one to something.

## What Makes Neutral Skills Different

Neutral is the only element in Palworld that never gets a super-effective bonus. Fire beats Ice and Grass, Grass beats Ground and Water, Dark beats Neutral — but Neutral beats nothing, so these seven skills deal the same damage to all nine elements. That sounds like a downside and mostly is, though it means a Neutral fruit is the one slot on a moveset that never turns into dead weight when you swap targets. Note the element chart cuts against you separately: Dark attacks hit Neutral **Pals** for around 1.5× regardless of what skills they're carrying, which is a reason to keep [your best Neutral Pals](https://palworld-db.com/best-pals) away from Dark bosses rather than a reason to skip the fruits.

All seven are Shot class, without exception. That means they scale off the Pal's Shot Attack and completely ignore its Melee Attack, so a fruit fed to a melee bruiser is largely wasted. Range matters more here than in most elements too — [Air Blade](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_AirBlade) and [Power Bomb](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_PowerBall) both refuse to fire at anything closer than 1,000–1,500 units, and [Pal Blast](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_HyperBeam) caps out at 1,800 despite being a heavy hitter, which is short enough that your Pal has to close in and eat return fire.

| Skill | Class | Range | What it actually does |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Holy Burst](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_HolyBlast) | Shot | 0–5,000 | Detonates light at the target and around it — full reach with no minimum range |
| [Pal Blast](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_HyperBeam) | Shot | 500–1,800 | Charges, then fires a wide beam forward; the shortest reach of any heavy Neutral skill |
| [Implode](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_SelfDestruct) | Shot | 0–1,000 | Applies Burn and incapacitates the caster — a one-shot trade, not a rotation move |
| [Air Blade](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_AirBlade) | Shot | 1,500–5,000 | Spreads blades in a fan; useless if the enemy is already on top of you |
| [Power Bomb](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_PowerBall) | Shot | 1,000–5,000 | Long charge before a big slow ball; the 1,000 minimum makes it a backline skill |
| [Power Shot](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_PowerShot) | Shot | 600–3,000 | Focused blast on a 4-second timer — reliable, unremarkable |
| [Air Cannon](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_AirCanon) | Shot | 500–4,000 | Burst of pressurised air every 2 seconds, good reach for a starter move |

## Which Fruits Are Actually Worth Buying

This is the section that saves you Battle Tickets. Neutral is the default move pool for the whole roster, so most of these skills arrive on their own if you just level a Pal up — [Lamball](https://palworld-db.com/pal/lamball) alone learns Air Cannon at 7, Power Shot at 15, Implode at 22, Power Bomb at 40, Pal Blast at 50 and Holy Burst at 70 without a single fruit. Buying Air Cannon or Power Shot is close to burning currency.

The exception is timing. [Holy Burst](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_HolyBlast) is a level-70 move for 31 of the 44 Pals that learn it by leveling, and [Pal Blast](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_HyperBeam) lands at 50 for 26 of its 32 — so the fruit isn't buying you a move you can't get, it's buying it decades of levels early, which is exactly when a 700-power hit is worth the most. [Implode](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_SelfDestruct) is the other real case: only four Pals in the entire game learn it by leveling, so for anything else the fruit is the only route.

| Skill Fruit | Pals that learn it by leveling | Usual level | Inheritable egg move | Worth the fruit? |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Holy Burst](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_HolyBlast) | 44 | 70 for 31 of them | 118 Pals | Yes — it's how you get a 700-power skill 60 levels early |
| [Pal Blast](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_HyperBeam) | 32 | 50 for 26 of them | 192 Pals | Yes, if your Pal is under level 50 |
| [Implode](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_SelfDestruct) | 4 | 1, 22 and 40 | None | Yes — Tocotoco, Chikipi, Lamball and Lovander are the only Pals that learn it |
| [Air Blade](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_AirBlade) | 20 | 15–30 | 119 Pals | Sometimes — the rarest of the cheap moves to get naturally |
| [Power Bomb](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_PowerBall) | 44 | 7–40 | 234 Pals | Rarely — it's the most widely inherited move in the element |
| [Power Shot](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_PowerShot) | 58 | 1–22 | None | No — more Pals learn this than any other Neutral move |
| [Air Cannon](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_AirCanon) | 47 | 1 for 34 of them | None | No — it's a starting move on a third of the Pals that get it |

The breeding column is worth reading twice. Power Bomb sits in the inheritable pool of 234 Pals and Pal Blast in 192, so if you're already running egg cycles for passives, both moves turn up as a side effect — details in the [Palworld breeding calculator](https://palworld-db.com/breeding). Air Cannon, Power Shot and Implode can't be inherited at all, which is why the four-Pal Implode list matters so much.

> **Tip.** Feed Neutral fruits to Pals that never learn the move themselves. [Bellanoir](https://palworld-db.com/pal/bellanoir) and [Necromus](https://palworld-db.com/pal/necromus) have two of the highest Shot Attack values in the game and neither learns Holy Burst or Pal Blast at any level — one fruit turns their moveset from good to genuinely scary. Meanwhile [Hartalis](https://palworld-db.com/pal/hartalis) already gets Holy Burst at level 15 on its own, so save your tickets there.

## How to Get Neutral Skill Fruits

Six routes exist and they don't overlap evenly. The single most important thing to know: [Holy Burst](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_HolyBlast) does not drop from chests, fishing spots, oil rigs or field loot anywhere in Palworld. It has exactly two sources — the Arena Shop for 45 Battle Tickets, or recycling Ancient Relics at odds so thin you'd never plan around them. Everything else in the element is farmable, and the split runs by region: the Grasslands and Forest pool holds the four cheapest fruits, while the late regions swap in Pal Blast and Air Blade.

### Arena Shop — Battle Tickets

Three Neutral fruits sit permanently in the Arena Shop, and this is the only guaranteed way to get any of them. Holy Burst at 45 tickets is the most expensive Neutral fruit on the board and the only reliable route to a 700-power skill, so it's the one to save for. Air Blade and Implode at 30 each are situational buys — Air Blade if you want reach on a short cooldown, Implode if you're building around a one-shot trade. Stock never rotates, so tickets keep their value while you grind.

| Skill Fruit | Battle Tickets | Power | Cooldown | Rarity |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Holy Burst](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_HolyBlast) | 45 | 700 | 30s | Rare |
| [Air Blade](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_AirBlade) | 30 | 160 | 8s | Uncommon |
| [Implode](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_SelfDestruct) | 30 | 300 | 16s | Uncommon |

Battle Tickets come from arena rounds — which round pays what is listed on the [Palworld arena guide](https://palworld-db.com/arena), and the rest of the ticket stock is on the [Palworld merchant database](https://palworld-db.com/merchants).

### Wandering Merchant — 3,000 Gold

Exactly one Neutral fruit is buyable with plain Gold: [Implode](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_SelfDestruct) at 3,000 from the Wandering Merchant. That's a rounding error by mid-game, and since only four Pals ever learn Implode naturally, it's the cheapest way to put the move on anything else. Buy a few whenever you pass a merchant — if Gold is the bottleneck, the [best Gold farming methods](https://palworld-db.com/guides/how-to-farm-gold) cover a stack of these in one run. No merchant anywhere sells Holy Burst, Pal Blast, Power Bomb, Power Shot or Air Cannon for Gold.

### Region Chests and Fishing Spots

Ordinary treasure chests are the bulk route, and which Neutral fruits you can pull depends entirely on where the chest sits. Early regions only ever cough up the cheap four; [Pal Blast](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_HyperBeam) doesn't enter the pool until the Desert, and [Air Blade](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_AirBlade) only appears from Sakurajima onward. Snowfields has the best per-chest odds at 1.64% with 178 chests pinned, which makes it the best deliberate farm for Pal Blast. Feybreak has the highest chest count of the late regions at 201, so it wins on volume even at slightly worse odds. Fishing spots mirror whatever region they sit in at marginally lower rates — 367 spots are pinned across the main map, so it's free progress while working through the [Palworld fishing guide](https://palworld-db.com/guides/fishing-guide).

| Region | Chest pins | Neutral fruits in the pool | Chance per chest |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Grasslands](https://palworld-db.com/map?layers=chest_grasslands) | 177 | Air Cannon, Power Shot, Power Bomb, Implode | 0.59% |
| [Forest](https://palworld-db.com/map?layers=chest_forest) | 247 | Same four as Grasslands | 0.50% |
| [Desert](https://palworld-db.com/map?layers=chest_desert) | 263 | Power Bomb, Implode, Pal Blast | 1.10% |
| [Mount Obsidian](https://palworld-db.com/map?layers=chest_mountobsidian) | 137 | Power Bomb, Implode, Pal Blast | 1.10% |
| [Snowfields](https://palworld-db.com/map?layers=chest_snowfields) | 178 | Power Bomb, Implode, Pal Blast | 1.64% |
| [Sakurajima](https://palworld-db.com/map?layers=chest_sakurajima) | 68 | Air Blade, Implode, Pal Blast | 1.49% |
| [Feybreak](https://palworld-db.com/map?layers=chest_feybreak) | 201 | Air Blade, Implode, Pal Blast | 1.49% |
| [Sunreach Isle](https://palworld-db.com/map?layers=chest_sunreachisle) | 76 | Air Blade, Implode, Pal Blast | 1.49% |
| Yakushima | no pinned layer | Power Bomb, Implode, Pal Blast | 1.10% |

Pal Blast and Air Blade also turn up as plain field drops in the late regions — under 0.4% in Feybreak and Sunreach Isle, and 0.62% around the World Tree, which is the best field-drop rate for either of them. That's far too thin to farm on purpose, but it explains the occasional free 450-power skill on the ground.

### Oil Rig Crates

For the four cheap fruits, oil rig crates are simply the best odds in the game: 2.56% per crate for [Air Cannon](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_AirCanon), [Power Shot](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_PowerShot), [Power Bomb](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_PowerBall) and [Implode](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_SelfDestruct) each — more than four times a Grasslands chest. There are 56 crates on the [oil rig crate map layer](https://palworld-db.com/map?layers=oilrigcrate) and they respawn, which makes rigs the only genuinely repeatable Neutral farm once you can handle the guards. The catch is that neither Rare fruit is in the crate pool, so this route caps out at Implode.

### Skill Fruit Trees and Caverns

Skill Fruit Trees hand you a fruit with no fight attached — 35 are pinned on the main map plus 12 more in the World Tree, all on the [Skill Fruit tree map layer](https://palworld-db.com/map?layers=skillfruit). You don't get to choose the element, so treat trees as a route you run while passing rather than a Neutral farm. Caverns work the same way: 6 of the 10 cavern types in Palworld spawn skill fruit pickups, including the Hillside Cavern and Cavern of the Dunes, with the full content list on the [Palworld dungeon database](https://palworld-db.com/dungeons).

### Recycling Ancient Relics

Every grade of Ancient Relic can break down into Holy Burst, Pal Blast, Air Blade or Implode — the three cheap fruits aren't in the recycler's output at all. Be honest about the rate, though: even Glistening relics, the best of the five grades, sit at roughly 0.02% per relic for any one fruit, which is about one in four thousand. Treat this as a bonus you notice while farming relics for something else, never as a Holy Burst plan. The setup is covered in the [Ancient Relic Recycler guide](https://palworld-db.com/guides/ancient-relic-recycler).

| Relic grade | Chance per relic (per fruit) | Fruits in the pool |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Glistening Ancient Relic | 0.024% | Holy Burst, Pal Blast, Air Blade, Implode |
| Glowing Ancient Relic | 0.020% | Same four |
| Gorgeous Ancient Relic | 0.017% | Same four |
| Dormant Ancient Relic | 0.014% | Same four |
| Decayed Ancient Relic | 0.012% | Same four |

## Duplicating Neutral Fruits at the Skillfruit Orchard

The Skillfruit Orchard lets you plant a fruit and harvest more of the same type, and it is unusually good for Neutral specifically. Harvests stay inside the element you planted, and Neutral has the smallest pool in the game — only two Rare fruits. So when a Neutral planting hits the 3% Rare roll, it's a straight coin flip between [Holy Burst](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_HolyBlast) and [Pal Blast](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkillCard_HyperBeam). Plant a Water fruit and that same 3% splits five ways instead. Given that Holy Burst has no chest source at all, an orchard running Neutral fruits is the only way to get more of it without spending tickets.

Be realistic about throughput: 60% of cycles return nothing, and only 40% pay out at all. It's a slow trickle, not a factory.

| Harvest result | Chance | What that means for Neutral |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Nothing this cycle | 60% | The majority outcome — plan around it |
| The exact fruit you planted | 15% | A straight duplicate, so planting Holy Burst can copy Holy Burst |
| Common fruit, same element | 15% | Air Cannon or Power Shot — a coin flip between the two |
| Uncommon fruit, same element | 7% | One of Implode, Air Blade or Power Bomb |
| Rare fruit, same element | 3% | Holy Burst or Pal Blast — the smallest Rare pool of any element |

Getting one built is the real gate. The Orchard unlocks at technology level 71 for 3 Technology Points, and it needs a Watering Pal assigned to run. The full build cost is 200 Mythical Wood, 500 Paldium Fragment and 150 Soralite — the Soralite is the awkward part, since it only comes from the sky islands.

| Material | Qty | Notes |
| --- | --- | --- |
| [Mythical Wood](https://palworld-db.com/item/Wood_WorldTree) | 200 | World Tree lumber — bring a Lumbering Pal |
| [Paldium Fragment](https://palworld-db.com/item/Pal_crystal_S) | 500 | The easy one; blue nodes are everywhere |
| [Soralite](https://palworld-db.com/item/SkyIslandOre) | 150 | Sky island ore — the bottleneck on this build |

## Best Pals to Put Neutral Skills On

Because every Neutral fruit skill is Shot class, the only stat that matters is Shot Attack — and because any Pal can eat any fruit regardless of its own element, you should be looking at the top of the whole roster, not just the Neutral Pals. The sweet spot is a high Shot Attack Pal that does **not** learn Holy Burst or Pal Blast on its own, because then the fruit is adding a skill instead of duplicating one.

[Bellanoir](https://palworld-db.com/pal/bellanoir) and its Libero form are the standout picks at 150 Shot Attack with neither Rare Neutral move in their level-up lists. [Necromus](https://palworld-db.com/pal/necromus) and [Neptilius](https://palworld-db.com/pal/neptilius) follow at 145 in the same position. Skip [Astralym](https://palworld-db.com/pal/astralym) and [Frostallion](https://palworld-db.com/pal/frostallion) for Holy Burst — Astralym has the highest Shot Attack of any Pal at 200 and already learns it at level 7, and Frostallion picks it up at 55. Among Neutral Pals themselves, [Hartalis](https://palworld-db.com/pal/hartalis) leads at 130 Shot Attack but learns Holy Burst at 15 anyway, so feed it Pal Blast instead.

| Pal | Shot Attack | Learns Holy Burst? | Learns Pal Blast? | Verdict |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Bellanoir](https://palworld-db.com/pal/bellanoir) | 150 | No | No | Best fruit target in the game — both Rares are pure upside |
| [Bellanoir Libero](https://palworld-db.com/pal/bellanoir-libero) | 150 | No | No | Same case as base Bellanoir at the same Shot Attack |
| [Necromus](https://palworld-db.com/pal/necromus) | 145 | No | No | Feed it Holy Burst; nothing in its own list comes close |
| [Neptilius](https://palworld-db.com/pal/neptilius) | 145 | No | No | Strong carrier and a Neutral skill covers its bad matchups |
| [Jetragon](https://palworld-db.com/pal/jetragon) | 140 | No | No | Worth a fruit if you fly it as a combat mount |
| [Frostallion](https://palworld-db.com/pal/frostallion) | 140 | At level 55 | No | Buy Pal Blast, not Holy Burst — it gets that one free |
| [Hartalis](https://palworld-db.com/pal/hartalis) | 130 | At level 15 | No | Highest Shot Attack of any Neutral Pal; Pal Blast is the gap to fill |
| [Astralym](https://palworld-db.com/pal/astralym) | 200 | At level 7 | No | Highest Shot Attack in Palworld, but it never needed the Holy Burst fruit |

One last consideration before you commit a fruit: skills are permanent until you overwrite them, and a Pal only carries three active slots. Check what your Pal already knows on its [Pal page](https://palworld-db.com/pal/hartalis) before feeding, and if you're building an endgame team properly, the [Pal min-maxing guide](https://palworld-db.com/guides/how-to-min-max-pals) covers how skills, passives and condensing stack together.
