## Notes we already publish

- (use) The in-game blurb says "slightly reduces" and undersells the ring badly. What it actually carries is Element Resist Dragon 3, which takes 30% off every point of Dragon damage that reaches you, with no condition attached — no HP threshold, no partner Pal, no stance. It runs for as long as the ring sits in an accessory slot, and it stacks with armour, so a Dragon alpha that two-shot you before will need three swings after.
- (location) The recipe is not a technology you can research — no elemental resistance ring sits anywhere in the tech tree. The crafting entry only appears once you are holding the Ring of Dragon Resistance Schematic ([[item:Blueprint_Accessory_DragonResist_1_2]]), and that paper drops only from grade 5 chest tables: oil rig crates carry it at about 1.2% (roughly one per 85 crates), Feybreak treasure chests at about 0.16% (one per 620), Feybreak field chests at about 0.12% (one per 860). The oil rig is seven times better than anything else, so if you are farming for it deliberately, farm rigs and ignore the island chests. There is also one scripted container in the world that simply hands the schematic over alongside 25 Dog Coins — a fixed reward, collected once, not a roll.
- (strategy) Do not hold out for a rarer copy. The higher-tier versions in the data are wired to the exact same Element Resist Dragon 3 — identical 30%, identical weight of 2 — so [[item:Accessory_DragonResist_2]] buys you a rarity label and nothing your health bar can feel. Craft the plain ring as soon as the schematic lands. Budget for the build too: it cannot be hand-crafted from your inventory, it needs a workbench, and at 15,000 work units it is one of the longer accessory jobs — park your best Handiwork Pals on the bench or it will eat most of an in-game day.
