- Gold value: 18480
- Weight: 2
- Max stack: 1

## Recipe

- Ingot x20
- Bone x20
- Ice Organ x15
- Paldium Fragment x30

## Notes we already publish

- (use) "Slightly" is the item text being modest. The ring carries Ice Damage Reduction Lv. 3, which cuts 30% off every point of Ice damage that reaches you. Nothing gates it — no HP threshold, no stance, no partner Pal — it runs the whole time the ring occupies an accessory slot. For scale, every Cold Resistant armor in the game, from the Pelt set up to the Ancient one, only carries the Lv. 1 version of that same line at 15%, so the ring is worth double your chest piece against Ice and sits in a different slot from it.
- (location) No technology unlocks this ring at any level. The recipe only appears once the Ring of Ice Resistance Schematic ([[item:Blueprint_Accessory_IceResist_1_2]]) is in your inventory, and it then builds at the High-Quality Workbench for 15,000 work — searching the tech tree for it is wasted time, because the paper is the whole gate and the materials are ordinary mid-game stock.
- (drops) Three grade 5 chest pools carry the schematic and no merchant stocks it. Treasure chests in Feybreak Cavern are far and away the best roll at 3.45%, about one copy per 29 opens. Crates on the standard oil rig — not the large one — pay 1.18%, roughly one per 85. Ordinary Feybreak field chests are 0.19%, about one per 524. Only the cavern is worth a deliberate run; the other two are things you pick up while already there for something else.
- (strategy) The upgraded copies are cosmetic where it counts. [[item:Accessory_IceResist_2]] and [[item:Accessory_IceResist_3]] both list the same Ice Damage Reduction Lv. 3 at the same weight of 2 as the plain ring — a better schematic moves the name and the sell price, not the number your health bar feels. Build the base ring and stop there.
- (strategy) Treat it as a swap-in, not a permanent slot. Two units of weight and a 30% cut earn their place against Bastigor ([[pal:SnowTigerBeastman]]) and the Bjorn fight, against Frostallion ([[pal:IceHorse]]), and on any sweep through the snowfields where most of what shoots at you is Ice. Anywhere else it does nothing at all. If you want more than Lv. 3, the step up is Lv. 4 at 35% — five percentage points — and it costs either [[item:Accessory_ColdIce_1]] at 158,040 or [[item:Accessory_Otomo_Fire_2]] at 34,080, both drop-gated. The cheap ring covers most of the gap.
