- (use) The two effects are rank 4 of their ladders and land at fixed values: incoming Electric damage on the equipped Pal drops by 35%, and the Pal's Ground damage rises by 20%. Both are partner-only — the ring does nothing for a Pal left working at base, and nothing for your own weapon damage.
- (strategy) A Ground partner already takes reduced damage from Electric moves, so the 35% cut compounds with that type advantage rather than replacing it — [[pal:Anubis]] or [[pal:DrillGame]] wearing this can stand in an Electric boss's attacks almost unpunished. The +20% only touches Ground-element moves, so on a dual-type wearer like [[pal:DarkScorpion]] half its kit gains nothing; check the partner's actual four equipped moves are Ground before paying the Ancient Civilization Parts.
- (location) There is no tech-tree entry for this ring, so tech points cannot unlock it — the recipe appears only once [[item:Blueprint_Accessory_Otomo_Earth_1]] is sitting in your inventory. Of the three Grade 5 chest pools that carry that schematic, the treasure chests of Sunreach Isle are far and away the best route at roughly 2.4% per roll, with crates on the large oil rig around 1% and ordinary Sunreach Isle chests under 0.2%.
