## Notes we already publish

- (use) Both effects sit at the Lv. 4 tier of their passive lines, and the values are fixed: incoming Water damage drops by 35%, outgoing Electric damage rises by 20%. Nothing about the ring scales with your level or the Pal's, so the numbers you get on the first craft are the numbers you keep.
- (location) There is no technology unlock for this ring — it never appears in the tech tree at any level. The only gate is [[item:Blueprint_Accessory_Otomo_Electricity_1]], which you have to find as loot before the recipe shows up. Treasure chests inside the Sunreach Skies caverns on Sunreach Isle are the best odds at roughly 2.4% per grade-5 roll, the crates on the large oil rig sit near 1%, and ordinary Sunreach Isle chests are a distant last at about 0.2%. Cavern runs are the fastest route by a wide margin.
- (use) Crafting happens at a Production Assembly Line (or anything that supersedes it), never by hand. The job carries a very large work total, so queue it with several high-Handiwork Pals assigned or expect it to sit unfinished for a long stretch of in-game time.
- (strategy) The two halves of this ring are aimed at the same matchup rather than at two different ones. Electric is what you bring to a Water fight, and a Water fight is exactly where your partner eats Water damage in return, so the 35% resistance is covering the counterattack the 20% boost invites. Against Ground opponents — the thing Electric actually loses to — the ring does nothing for you, and a plain defensive accessory is the better slot.
