## Notes we already publish

- (use) Every plain wooden bow and the base crossbow can load these. [[item:WeakerBow]], [[item:Bow_Triple]], [[item:Bow_Fifth]], [[item:RecurveBow]] and [[item:BowGun]] all share one ammunition list — [[item:Arrow]], [[item:Arrow_Fire]] and [[item:Arrow_Poison]] — and you pick which one is loaded from the weapon, so a stack in your bag serves whichever of those you happen to be carrying.
- (use) The upgraded bows cannot touch them. [[item:CompoundBow]] is locked to [[item:ReinforcedArrow]], [[item:SFBow]] to [[item:SFArrow]] and [[item:SkyBow]] to [[item:SkyBowArrow]] — none of the three carries the three-arrow list. Poison Arrows are an early- and mid-game tool, and the moment you move up a bow tier the stock you built stops being usable on your main weapon.
- (use) [[item:Bow_Poison]] and [[item:BowGun_Poison]] have no ammunition menu at all — poison is the only thing they will chamber. Carry either one and your uptime is your [[item:Venom]] supply, so keep a farm route or a ranch stocking glands before you commit to them as a main weapon.
- (use) One gland becomes ten arrows, and the wood and stone alongside it are free in practice. Buying the same ten from a merchant is 400 Gold, so the only reason to shop for these is convenience on the road — glands are the bottleneck, never the craft.
