## Notes we already publish

- (use) Any cooking station will turn the venison into this, so there is nothing to gate you: the Campfire unlocks at Technology level 2 for a single point and 10 Wood, and it produces exactly the same 252-hunger dish as the Cooking Pot (level 17), the Electric Kitchen (level 41), the Large-Scale Stone Oven (level 49) or the Ancient Kitchen (level 70). The later stations buy throughput and Kindling seats, never a better roast — so if you are early and cold in the tundra, build the Campfire and cook on the spot rather than hauling raw meat home.
- (drops) The recipe's one ingredient has a single tap in the whole game: [[pal:IceDeer]] drops [[item:Meat_IceDeer]] at a guaranteed 2 per kill, and nothing else produces it. That fixes the exchange rate at one Reindrix for two roasts, or 504 hunger a carcass, and it means a stack of these is really a record of how many Reindrix you have put down — there is no shop, node or alternate drop to top it up. Reindrix is a common tundra spawn, so the practical limit is how much cold you can stand, not how rare the meat is.
