## Notes we already publish

- (location) All five tiers sit in the same slot of the same chest table, one copy per roll, and their weights drop by a factor of five each step up: the plain schematic is about 7.1% of that slot, tier 1 about 1.4%, tier 2 about 0.28%, tier 3 about 0.057%, and the legendary about 0.011% — roughly one chest in 8,800. Counting every tier together, some Hallowed Helmet schematic falls about once in every 11 chests, which is the figure to plan a farming route around.
- (location) The metal is never the bottleneck, so do not farm it separately. A second slot in the same chest is a guaranteed 4 to 10 Hallowed Bar, and the legendary helmet costs 240 — about 34 chests' worth on average, against the thousands you will open chasing the schematic itself. Whichever route gets you there, the ingots are already piled up when the recipe arrives.
- (location) Nothing else in the game hands this over. No Pal drops it, no merchant stocks it, it is in no supply drop or expedition return, and the richer Yakushima chest pool — the one paying 20 to 40 Hallowed Bar and the summon schematic for the island's second boss — carries weapon schematics only, so those chests will never produce head gear at any tier.
- (use) Rarity buys durability and survivability, never damage. Hallowed Power: Ranged is a flat 20% damage bonus while a Yakushima ranged weapon is in hand, and it is identical on all five tiers — the plain helmet already delivers the whole effect. What the climb from common to legendary actually adds is 140 to 182 defence, 320 to 416 HP, and 4,500 to 13,500 durability, with the bar cost rising from 20 to 240. If you want the buff and nothing more, stop at the first copy that drops and spend the rest of your chest run elsewhere.
- (use) The buff is weapon-specific: this one is tied to the Vortex Beater, the only Yakushima gun. Its siblings cover the rest of the set — the Hallowed Mask for melee blades, the Hallowed Headgear for magic and the Hallowed Hood for summons — and since only one thing fits the head slot, climbing a second family's ladder does nothing until you switch weapons. Every tier is built at the Production Assembly Line for 40,000 work, and combining five copies into the next tier up runs at the same bench for 1,000.
- (strategy) Read this as a damage piece rather than an armour upgrade. Even at legendary, 182 defence and 416 HP is under a legendary Pal Metal Helm's 240 and 560, and nowhere near a Hexolite Helmet at 455 and 1,040 or an Ancient Helm at 650 and 1,560. Wearing it trades a large slice of head-slot protection for 20% more Vortex Beater damage, which is a fair swap while you are clearing Yakushima with that gun and a bad one for anything you take chip damage in.
