## Notes we already publish

- (use) The technology that unlocks this sits at level 42 and costs 2 points — the last rung of the elemental grenade ladder that starts with [[item:FragGrenade]] at level 25. Every one of those rungs, Dragon included, throws for the same 750 attack, so reaching level 42 buys you an element tag and nothing else. It also builds slower: 13000 work against the plain Frag Grenade's 10000. The only grenade that actually hits harder is [[item:FragGrenade_Super]], which needs level 53 and swaps stone for Pal Metal Ingot and Crude Oil.
- (use) [[item:Horn]] is the only ingredient here that gates the craft, and it is not rare — [[pal:GrassMinotaur]] and Hartalis drop 2 to 3 on every kill, [[pal:Deer]] and its Terra form drop a guaranteed 2, and the village, desert, caravan and dungeon merchants all stock it at 200 Gold. One Horn per grenade means a single hunting trip through Eikthyrdeer country covers a full throwing loadout, and the stone and gunpowder alongside it cost nothing at that point in a save.
- (strategy) This is the only throwable in the game that deals Dragon damage — no other grenade, and no thrown item of any kind, carries the element. That makes it the cheap way to put Dragon damage on a target when you have no Dragon weapon and no Dragon Pal out, which matters most against enemies that shrug off the element you are actually built around. For everything else, the level-25 Frag Grenade lands the identical 750 for ten stone and a gunpowder, so keep a stack of both rather than replacing one with the other.
