- (location) The hat is the guaranteed first-clear reward for putting Bjorn and [[pal:SnowTigerBeastman|Bastigor]] down on Hard Mode at the Ice tower. The original fight never hands it over, and there is no tech entry, vendor stock or chest behind it either — that one rematch clear is the entire acquisition path. The single Cloth sitting on its recipe line is a repair cost for a hat already in your inventory, not a way to craft a fresh one.
- (location) The rematch door does not open until all eight normal tower bosses have been beaten once each, and it is the same tower entrance in the far south-west that you already have a fast travel point beside — nothing new appears on the map. Inside it is a level 80 pure Ice boss with roughly 487,500 HP that only takes 18% of your damage, on a five-minute clock, with extra escorts on the floor that do not share its element. Fire is the only thing that gains on it. - (use) 20 defense and 60 HP is cosmetic territory, far under real endgame headgear, so wear it for the look and swap out before anything that can actually kill you. The reason to keep the tower on rotation once the hat is in hand is the rest of the table: this is the only fight in the game that hands over the Legendary [[item:AncientArmorWeight_5|Lightweight Ancient Armor]] schematic directly, at about a 10% roll per clear, alongside large lotuses and [[item:LvUP_01|Training Crystals]] for the Pal you brought.
- (trivia) One of the tower-boss headpieces, each locked behind its own Hard Mode fight — [[item:GYM_Head_Grass]], [[item:GYM_Head_Electric]], [[item:GYM_Head_Forest]], [[item:GYM_Head_Desert]], [[item:GYM_Head_Snow]] and [[item:GYM_Head_Sakurajima]] are the rest of the set.
