- (location) There is no recipe and no tech entry for this hat — the medal stock is the only way it enters your inventory, so the real gate is Dog Coins ([[item:DogCoin]]) rather than your level. Those come off [[pal:MimicDog]] and nothing else: capture a wild one and it hands over 170-250 coins at a 100% rate, which clears the 25-coin price several times over in a single catch. An alpha Mimog is the worse target at a flat 35, and butchering the Pal returns none at all, so the coin has to come from the catch itself.
- (use) The chip on this hat is Water Damage Reduction Lv. 1, the bottom step of that resistance line — the Ring of Water Resistance ([[item:Accessory_AquaResist_1]]) sits two grades above it at Lv. 3. Treat the hat as a head slot that happens to shave a little off Water hits, not as your answer to a coastal run or a Water alpha; the mitigation you actually feel still has to come from the accessory slots.
