## Notes we already publish

- (use) A Campfire will not take this recipe. The earliest station that accepts it is the Cooking Pot at Technology 17, built from 15 [[item:CopperIngot]], 5 [[item:Processed_Wood]] and 3 [[item:FireOrgan]] — so a Flame Organ, not the flour, is what actually stands between you and the first bun. The Electric Kitchen (Technology 41), Large-Scale Stone Oven (Technology 49) and Ancient Kitchen (Technology 70) run the same recipe once you have them.
- (strategy) Combining the ingredients loses you food. One [[item:Flour]] baked alone is [[item:Pan]] at 27 nutrition and 4 SAN, and each [[item:Berries]] baked alone is [[item:Baked_Berries]] at 21 and 1 — cook the bun's inputs as three separate dishes and you get 69 nutrition and the same 6 SAN, for 3,000 work instead of the bun's 5,000. The bun's only real advantages are that it is one stack instead of three and that it needs one trip to the pot; the sell value comes out at 420 Gold either way.
- (strategy) The same one Flour and two Red Berries are the base of [[item:Pizza]], which adds two [[item:Tomato]] and two [[item:Milk]] for 184 nutrition and 23 SAN — more than three times the bun off the same grain and berries. Once a ranch and a tomato plot are running, stop turning flour into buns; the berry plantation output is worth far more through the pizza.
