## Notes we already publish

- (drops) You do not have to kill for the pork. A Rushoar ([[pal:Boar]]) pays out its 1–2 meat on capture exactly as it does on defeat, so a sphere thrown at a low-HP one gets you the food and a Mining worker in the same throw. Every Rushoar also drops [[item:Leather]] and [[item:Bone]] at 100%, which is the real reason to farm the species early: one route feeds the cooking pot, the Pal Sphere bench and the bone-hungry recipes at once.
- (location) There is no window to wait for. Rushoar's spawn table is identical by day and by night — the same 148 points, no nocturnal flag — so a pork run works at any hour, and the herd is aggressive enough to charge you on sight rather than needing to be tracked down. That makes it one of the few meats you can gather without either a torch or a stealth approach.
- (use) Four recipes take the pork, and only one of them is free of side ingredients: [[item:BakedMeat_Boar]] is 1 pork and nothing else, and it is also the quickest to cook — roughly a tenth of the pot time that [[item:HotDog_2]] demands. Budget the extras before you start a stack. Rushoar Hot Dog wants 1 [[item:Flour]] and 2 [[item:Lettuce]] per unit, [[item:BaconEggs]] wants 2 [[item:Egg]] against its 2 pork, and [[item:Gyoza]] wants 1 [[item:Mushroom]] and 1 [[item:Flour]]. Meat is rarely the bottleneck — the flour and the lettuce are.
