Meat from Lamball. Red meat with a flavour all its own — good, but it takes a few tries to appreciate.

## Notes we already publish

- (drops) Lamball hands over its mutton whether you knock it out or throw a sphere at it — a successful catch pays the same 1 meat as a kill, so there is no reason to slaughter one you could have added to the box first.
- (use) Never eat it raw. One mutton restores 37 hunger by itself, but the same single piece becomes [[item:BakedMeat_SheepBall]] for 52 with no other ingredient, [[item:GrilledSheepHerbs]] for 94 plus 12 SAN once you add 2x [[item:Berries]], or [[item:GenghisKhan]] for 147 plus 18 SAN with 2x [[item:Lettuce]]. Lettuce is the only one of the three that needs a farm, and it nearly quadruples what each carcass is worth.
- (use) Because every dish consumes exactly 1 mutton, stock is the limiting factor and not the recipe — cook the Lettuce version whenever your plot is producing and fall back to Red Berries only when it is not. Feeding raw mutton into a feed box wastes over 100 hunger per piece compared with cooking it first.
