## Notes we already publish

- (use) The recipe on this page is not something you hand-craft — it only runs on the Gold Coin Assembly Line, a base structure unlocked at Technology Lv. 73 for 4 points. Putting one down costs [[item:SkyislandIngot]] x100, [[item:PalCrystal_Ex]] x20, [[item:AIcore]] x10 and [[item:AncientParts2]] x5, so in practice it arrives after Feybreak and the Sakurajima ore chain are already running. It has to sit inside a base near the Palbox, it needs an electric feed, and only Pals with Handiwork can be assigned to it.
- (strategy) Treat the line as an overnight earner, not a coin printer. One batch of 30 [[item:CopperIngot]] into 20,000 coins carries 2,000,000 work — 100 work per coin, and two hundred times the effort of erecting the structure itself. Stack every high-rank Handiwork Pal you have on it, keep a food box and beds in range, and let it grind while you play elsewhere. If you want coins in the next ten minutes, Mimog kills (8,500-11,000 a drop) and a Sunreach Isle or Feybreak chest circuit still beat it outright; the line wins on the fact that it never runs out of nodes.
- (strategy) Watch the SAN bar more than the ingot stock. The assembly line drains sanity at 0.5 per work tick — the single harshest workstation in the game, over four times the plain workbench's 0.11 and more than triple the 0.15 that furnaces and generators charge. Assigned Pals will hit depression and walk off long before a batch completes, so rotate workers, keep a hot spring adjacent, and favour Pals with Positive Thinker or Workaholic. Power draw is the easy part: 200 units, tame next to the 2,000-3,000 that Ancient Blast Furnaces and Oil Pumps demand, so an existing generator line will usually absorb it without a new build.
- (trivia) The facility's own description flags that minting your own currency is not strictly legal on Palpagos — it warns of severe scrutiny from the PIDF. There is no mechanical penalty attached to it; it is flavour on the one structure in the base menu that exists to counterfeit money.
