## Notes we already publish

- (use) Put a figure on the vague wording: the whistle grants Element Boost (Grass) Lv. 3, worth +18% Grass damage. There is no trigger condition attached — no HP threshold, no timer, no combat state — so it applies for as long as the accessory stays equipped. It targets whichever Pal is currently out with you, and does nothing for the rest of your party or for anything assigned to a base.
- (strategy) The bonus is scoped to Grass damage rather than to attack in general, so its value tracks how much of the moveset you actually use is Grass-element. A Pal running an all-Grass kit gets something close to a flat +18%; one that is Grass on the Paldex page but swings Neutral or physical moves in practice gets far less. Compare against a generic partner-attack accessory before committing the slot.
- (use) The four rungs of this effect are +6%, +12%, +18% and +20%, and the whistle is already the third. With only two percentage points sitting above it, a second one is not worth farming — spend later Ancient Civilization Parts on a different accessory line instead.
- (use) The recipe is absent from the technology tree entirely, and the item cannot be hand-crafted from the inventory menu. It unlocks only while the Grass Support Whistle Schematic ([[item:Blueprint_Otomo_ElementBoost_Leaf_1_2]]) is held, and crafting then needs a High-Quality Workbench or any of the later assembly lines and workshops. Have the bench standing before you go looking, so the schematic is not idling in your bag.
- (location) That schematic comes out of Grade 5 treasure chests, and the oil rig raid pool is by far the best table for it: roughly 1 in 85 of those rolls, versus around 1 in 600 or worse from the Grade 5 chests on the dark island. Twelve accessory schematics share the oil rig slot at identical odds — all nine element whistles plus the attack, defence and Pal EXP ones — so a qualifying pull lands on Grass about one time in twelve. Repeat rig runs are the plan; a single clear rarely produces the one you want.
