## Notes we already publish

- (use) The recipe above is not something you research your way into. This ring sits on no technology tier at all, and it is flagged as un-handcraftable, so the materials in your bag do nothing until two other conditions are met: the Ring of Trust Schematic ([[item:Blueprint_Otomo_PalConfidence_Increase_1_fix]]) is sitting in your inventory, and you are standing at a production line rather than opening the hand-crafting menu. Gather the Ancient Lava first if you like, but the schematic is the actual gate.
- (location) One copy of that schematic is guaranteed — a fixed world cache hands it over together with 30 Dog Coins, and it is a one-time pickup rather than a respawning drop. Everything after that is grade 5 chest luck: crates on the large oil rig carry it at 0.98%, roughly one per 102 crates opened, which is the only farm with a sane number attached to it. The Sky Island tables are far worse — 0.146% on the treasure chests and 0.116% on the second island's spawns, on the order of 700 to 860 chests per copy.
- (strategy) You only ever need the one, so treat the rig grind as optional. The ring stacks to 1, and its entire contribution is the trust-gain passive — every defence, HP and shield value on it is zero, so wearing it is a straight trade of an accessory slot for nothing in a fight. The way to use it is as a session item: put it on for the stretch where you are actively feeding, working and battling alongside the Pals you want bonded, then swap back to a resistance ring before you go near an alpha or a tower boss.
