## Notes we already publish

- (use) Everything you collect funnels into one recipe: [[item:PalAwakening_Grass]], and a single crystal costs 50 gems alongside 10 [[item:WorldTreeHolyWater]]. Plan around both halves. A chest of 250 gems is five crystals only when 50 Holy Water sits next to it, and players who grind the gem counter first usually end up sitting on it while they go back for the water. The crystal that comes out is locked to its colour — Grass Awakening Crystals raise Grass Pals and no others, and each of the other eight elements has its own gem feeding its own crystal. Nothing converts between them, so a Grass stockpile does nothing for a Dragon or Ice roster and the whole cycle restarts for every element you want to awaken.
- (strategy) Fifty gems sounds punishing until the drop table is read by tier. Elgrove, Mammorest, Mossanda, Broncherry, Broncherry Aqua, Braloha, Wumpo Botan, Ophydia and Lyleen all pay 10–20 on a guaranteed roll, which puts a full crystal at three to five encounters — a single loop of the World Tree, not a farming session. The 1–3 entries are a different proposition: Shroomer, Carnibora, Nitemary Botan, Silvance and Dandilord roll half the time for a handful, so clearing them out is worth roughly twenty-five to fifty encounters per crystal and only makes sense as pickup value on a route you were already running. Capturing pays the same as killing, so a Pal Sphere thrown at a Lyleen banks the gems and the Pal in one go.
- (strategy) The recycling rows in the acquisition table are not available early — the Ancient Relic Recycler is a tier 74 technology, so relics pile up unusable until you are deep into the endgame tree. Even unlocked, the per-relic chance never clears 5%, which makes recycling a way to convert relics you have no other use for rather than a route to a crystal. Rarity does tilt it: [[item:WorldTreeRelic_05]] pays the best odds of the five and [[item:WorldTreeRelic_01]] the worst, so feed the good relics in when you want gems and hold the rest for whatever else they buy.
