## Notes we already publish

- (drops) Twenty-five Pals drop this at 100%, but the amounts are not close. [[pal:GrassMammoth]] and [[pal:GrassMammoth_Ice]] hand over 5-10 a kill; [[pal:GhostDragon]] and [[pal:GhostDragon_Fire]] 5-6; everything at the bottom of the list — [[pal:LazyCatfish]], [[pal:SweetsSheep]], [[pal:LavaGirl]] — gives exactly 1. That is a ten-fold spread on identical effort, so the only question worth asking is which of the big droppers you can actually kill at your level. The alpha versions of both Mammorests carry the same 5-10 band on top of their Ancient Civilization Parts ([[item:PalCrystal_Ex]]), which makes an alpha respawn circuit the densest oil route in the game once you can clear them.
- (location) Where the useful droppers actually live: [[pal:GrassMammoth]] is a common field spawn with its heaviest pockets around Grassy Behemoth Hills and Icy Weasel Hill, so it is farmable on foot rather than only as a boss. [[pal:GrassMammoth_Ice]] is far scarcer and confined to the north — Pristine Snow Field, Thawtide Cape and Unthawable Lake. Before you can fight either, the desert is the reliable answer: [[pal:DrillGame]] swarms Duneshelter and the Desert Backbone at 2-3 oil a kill, and [[pal:LazyCatfish]] shares the Anubis Dunes with it. [[pal:LavaGirl]] clusters at the Foot of the Volcano but pays only 1, so treat it as a detour, not a route.
- (strategy) Two partner skills multiply item drops with no element condition attached: Golden Harvest on [[pal:LazyCatfish_Gold]] and Soul Collector on [[pal:GhostRabbit]], both scaling from 100% at rank 1 to 200% at rank 5. At max rank that turns a Mammorest kill into 10-20 oil rather than 5-10, which beats any change of hunting ground. Dumud Gild is the one to level, because the same Pal pays twice — active partner on the kill run, then a Ranch slot at Ranch Lv 4 for the passive trickle while you are doing something else.
