## Notes we already publish

- (use) No recipe, structure or technology in the game consumes Sapphire — it is pure sale stock. A merchant pays 3,000 Gold for one, a tenth of the 30,000 the same merchant charges to sell you one, so there is no reason to bank a stack for later crafting.
- (drops) [[pal:DarkScorpion_Ground]] and [[pal:MoonQueen]] are the only guaranteed sources, and Selyne yields 2–3 per kill rather than one. Selyne is nocturnal, so plan that hunt after dark. The Cryst-type droppers sit between 1% and 5%, far too thin to farm deliberately — treat those Sapphires as a bonus from fights you were having anyway.
