## Notes we already publish

- (use) The saddle costs 3 Technology points and the entry does not appear until level 48, so it lands well after Tetroise itself is catchable. What the points actually buy is Masonry Archelon: with Tetroise working at your base, every other Pal stationed there mines one rank higher than its own sheet says. The buff is scoped to base assignment, not to the seat — keeping Tetroise in the party or under you while you ride does nothing for production, and the Pal has to be filling a base slot for the other workers to read it.
- (use) The bonus is a flat one rank at every condense rung — 1, 2, 3 and 4 stars all give the same +1, unlike the partner skills whose percentages climb as you feed them duplicates. So there is no production reason to sink Tetroise duplicates into the condenser; do it only for the Pal's own combat stats. Tetroise's personal Mining 4 is unaffected by its own skill, and the Primo variant is a separate 4-point unlock at level 75 whose saddle grants an equipment-durability effect instead, so building this one is not a step toward that one.
- (strategy) Eleven partner skills in the game raise a work suitability by a rank, and Mining is covered by exactly one of them — this Pal. There is no second source and no passive that substitutes, which is what makes a 3-point saddle worth the slot on an ore base: park Tetroise there and a stable of Mining 3 and 4 workers all behave one tier better on the same nodes. Only three other rank-buffers are locked behind gear at all (Eikthyrdeer Terra at level 21, Wumpo at 45, Smokie Cryst's harness), so the rest cost nothing but a base slot.
- (strategy) Do not craft this expecting a travel mount. Tetroise's ride sprint of 540 ranks 242nd of the 288 rideable Pals, slower than most mid-game ground mounts and far off anything in the flying tier, so the seat is a novelty and the base buff is the entire payoff. The material bill leans on Refined Ingot x30 and High Quality Cloth x20 rather than anything rare, which at level 48 usually means the queue at the furnace and the loom is the real wait, not the Paldium.
