## Notes we already publish

- (use) Huggy Frost behaves like a weapon you carry rather than a buff you leave running. Toggle it on and the frost stream lands 15 damage from a Foxparks Cryst you have not condensed, rising to 16, 18, 21 and finally 25 once it has been through the condenser four times. It draws no ammunition at all — what it spends is the partner skill meter, and a full meter is ten seconds of held fire. Run that meter dry and the harness is locked out for 100 seconds before you can pull the trigger again, so treat each activation as one ten-second burst rather than a weapon you lean on.
- (use) Merely having it toggled on costs you too, at a tenth the rate of actually firing, which works out to roughly 100 seconds of walking around with it drawn before the meter empties on its own. Switch it off between fights instead of leaving it up, or you will reach for it and find nothing there. Swapping back to a normal gun while it is active is allowed, so there is no penalty to keeping a rifle in hand and only toggling the harness when a Dragon-type shows up.
- (strategy) Condensing this one buys damage and nothing else — the rank label the game appends to the skill reads Damage Up S, M, L and XL, with no cooldown line of its own, so the ten-second window and the 100-second lockout stay exactly the same at four stars as they were at zero. Going from 15 to 25 is a 67% gain on a number that was small to begin with, so condense Foxparks Cryst for its Cooling work slots first and count the harness damage as a side benefit.
- (strategy) Against Foxparks' Harness this is a straight element swap, not an upgrade. Both harnesses fire the same 15 / 16 / 18 / 21 / 25 ladder on the same ten-second-per-100-second cycle; the only thing you are buying is a cold stream instead of a hot one. That costs level 24 and 2 Technology points against level 6 and 1 point, ten Leather and twenty Paldium Fragment instead of three and five, and three times the crafting work. The reason to pay it is coverage: Ice is the element Dragon Pals take extra damage from, and the fire version does nothing special to them. For Ice and Grass targets keep the original — Fire is the type that presses those.
