## Basics

- Type: Essential / Essential_PalGear
- Max stack: 9999

## Recipe

- Leather x20
- Cloth x20
- Fiber x30
- Refined Ingot x10
- Paldium Fragment x30

## Notes we already publish

- (use) The recipe is a Technology entry at level 36 and costs 3 points, so a Braloha caught in the twenties sits unrideable for a long stretch — the Pal is not the gate, the level is. Nothing in the recipe is a gate either: Leather, Cloth, Fiber, Paldium Fragment and Refined Ingot are all things a camp running a furnace already stockpiles by then, with no drop, schematic or ore expedition in the chain. Queue it the hour the technology unlocks rather than saving the points.
- (use) It comes off the Pal Gear Workbench, a level 6 two-point structure you almost certainly built for your first saddle, and there is no upgraded tier of that bench anywhere — every saddle in the game is made on the same starter table. The craft carries 40,000 work, which is the median for Pal gear and still an hour of one bad Handiwork Pal chipping at it, so put your best Handiwork bodies on the bench before you place the order.
- (strategy) The saddle is what switches on Balmy Weather, and that skill pays at camp rather than on the road: with Braloha out, the Breeding Farm turns eggs out faster on a 20 / 26 / 32 / 38 / 50% ladder that climbs with its partner-skill rank. A fully ranked one is the strongest single lever on egg throughput you can park next to a farm, so the saddle is really a breeding purchase that happens to include a mount.
- (strategy) Do not spend the 3 points expecting a travel upgrade. Braloha rides at 1,020 sprint, 47th of the 77 ground mounts, and by level 36 you can already have Pyrin at 1,300 off a cheaper technology. What it does hold is 270 stamina, near the top of the whole ground list, so it sprints far longer between refills than the speed suggests — useful for hauling yourself around a sprawling base, not for crossing the map. Between that and Braloha's Planting 5 / Gathering 5, this is a Pal you keep at home.
