# Dinossom

Once its temper goes, nothing brings it back, and the rage burns on like an inferno. That is where 'step on a Dinossom's tail' comes from as a phrase for setting someone off.

## Notes we already publish

- (catch) There is no fixed field alpha for this one, but Hillside Cavern and Isolated Island Cavern both carry Dinossom on a 30-Pal boss roster, and their boss chamber runs Lv 10–13 behind Lv 5–10 filler. That is the cheap door in: a Lv 13 target folds to spheres that a Lv 34 wild one shrugs off, and it hands over Ancient Civilization Parts and Precious Dragon Stone instead of the seeds a wild Dinossom leaves. The cost is the roll — one Pal is drawn from thirty per run, so you farm the cavern and take Dinossom when it comes up.
- (use) Fragrant Dragon is a defence aura, not a riding perk. It raises the Defense of every Dragon Pal in your active party — Dinossom itself included — by 15% at partner level 1, then 17, 20, 24 and 30% as you condense duplicates into it. Nothing fires until the Dinossom Saddle is unlocked at technology level 24, and a second Dinossom in the same party adds nothing, so one condensed copy is the entire investment. On a party built around a Dragon hitter, that is a rarity-6 Pal buying a flat 30% on your best Pal's defence.
- (use) At base, Dinossom is one of only ten Pals in the game that reach level 3 in both Planting and Lumbering, so a single slot covers the plantation and the logging site instead of two specialists — worth remembering while your Pal cap is the thing holding the base back. It eats 4 of 10 food units to do it, which is heavier than most early workers, so it wants a stocked feed box near the work area rather than a walk across the camp.
