# Killamari Primo

Its fangs go into the neck and take every last drop of blood. Two Killamari Primos latched onto each other lock into a relentless struggle, draining away until one of them withers.

## Notes we already publish

- (use) Fried Killamari is neither a combat buff nor a saddle — it rewrites how the glider you already own behaves. With Killamari Primo's Gloves crafted and equipped, a glide stops being a controlled fall and becomes a slow drift, holding you up long enough to cross ground that would otherwise need a climb or a detour. Two conditions switch it on and no others: the gloves worn, and Killamari Primo sitting anywhere in your five-slot party. It does not have to be the Pal you have out, so this costs a party slot rather than your fighting partner, and the float stays active while something else does the killing.
- (use) Exactly seven Pals hand out gloves that alter a glider — Galeclaw, Hangyu, Hangyu Cryst, Celaray, Celaray Lux and both Killamari — so the real decision is which pair to build, and Killamari Primo funds its own. The recipe is 6 Cloth, 4 Aquatic Pal Fluids and 12 Paldium Fragment, and Aquatic Pal Fluids come off every Killamari Primo you take down, one or two apiece, so two to four of them cover the whole requirement while you are catching the Pal anyway. Galeclaw's equivalent asks for 20 Cloth, 20 Leather, 30 Fiber and 30 Paldium Fragment to fill the same slot; Celaray's is the one that undercuts this at 5 Cloth, 3 Aquatic Pal Fluids and 5 Paldium Fragment, and is worth knowing about if the party slot is what you are short of rather than the materials.
