# Robinquill Terra

It closely resembles the humans who hunt and live in rocky country. Wherever Robinquill Terra bones surface in ruins, human bones are always lying nearby.

## Notes we already publish

- (use) Master Archer is a bow perk aimed at you, not at the Pal. The percentage in the ladder above is your bow's charge speed — 15% faster at partner level 1, 30% at level 5, which is what condensing buys — and it does nothing for Robinquill Terra's own attacks. It fires from any of the five party slots, so the Pal does not have to be the one out fighting, but a copy assigned to base work or sitting in the Palbox contributes nothing. There is no saddle or Pal gear gating it, unlike the partner skills that wait on a technology unlock, so it works from the moment you catch one.
- (use) The gate is the bow weapon class exactly, and crossbows count as a different class of weapon entirely: the Crossbow, Fire Arrow Crossbow and Poison Arrow Crossbow draw no benefit at all. What does benefit is the Old Bow, Recurve Bow, Three Shot Bow, Five Shot Bow, Compound Bow, Advanced Bow, Mechanical Bow, Fire Bow and Poison Bow — that is the whole list. Check which one you are carrying before you give up a party slot for this.
- (use) A second Robinquill Terra in the party is wasted, because the skill is flagged not to stack between two of the same Pal. The plain Robinquill is a different case: its skill carries the same name but a different effect, raising bow damage by 10% at level 1 and 35% at level 5, and the two are separate species, so a party holding one of each draws faster and hits harder at the same time. That also changes what condensing is worth on each — the Terra's charge bonus only doubles from 1 to 5, while the plain one's damage bonus more than triples.
