Capture Rate is relative — a higher value means the Pal is easier to catch. Stat Total sums HP, both attacks and defense.

What to Compare, and What to Ignore

Put up to four Pals side by side and the differences that decide a slot show up immediately. Raw attack and HP are the obvious columns, but the ones that change how a Pal plays are movement speed, capture rate and the work suitabilities — a Pal you ride everywhere earns its slot even when its combat numbers are ordinary.

Compare inside a role. Lining a mount up against a base worker produces a table where every row differs and none of it helps. Two candidates for the same job is where the comparison earns its keep.

Base stats are the start of the story. Passives, condenser rank and the moveset all move the final numbers, so treat this as the shortlist step and then check the individual pages for what each one can actually learn.
