Terra Blade Schematic
Blueprint0★A Tides of Terraria schematic; carrying it unlocks the Terra Blade, produced on the Weapon Assembly Line.
It is a component in one recipe, so keep a couple spare rather than a stockpile.
Details
It stacks up to 9,999. At 10,000 gold it is worth real money to a merchant.
Where to Find Terra Blade Schematic
Terra Blade Schematic shows up as world loot — chests in the Yakushima. Higher-grade chests carry the better rolls, so the ones guarded by a camp are usually worth the detour.
Yakushima chests are the slow route. Using a Celestial Sigil at a Summoning Altar opens the level 50 Moon Lord fight, and a quarter of clears pay out Terra Blade Schematic 2 — two rungs above the copy found in chests.

What Terra Blade Schematic Unlocks
This schematic is not equipment itself — holding it unlocks the recipe for Terra Blade, a melee weapon, so the schematic is the permission and the crafting bench does the work. It lands at 425 attack, 35th of 79 in its class. The tier on a schematic decides the rarity of the piece you end up with, and five of one tier combine into the next at the drafting table.

Using Terra Blade Schematic Well
Each rung of the ladder eats five of the one below: five of these become Terra Blade Schematic 1, and so on to Terra Blade Schematic 4. That is 625 chest copies to reach the legendary tier, so this rung is worth keeping for the base sword rather than as a path to the top.
Forging costs climb with the rung, not with the bench: 40x Hallowed Bar and 20x Pal Metal Ingot at this tier, then 60/30, 120/60, 240/120, and 480/240 at legendary. Bar production is the real bottleneck once a raid hands you a high-rung schematic.
The level 80 rematch drops Terra Blade Schematic 4 on 25% of clears, and every Moon Lord win at either level returns a Celestial Sigil [Master], so the raid refunds its own summon item and can be run back to back once you have cleared it the first time.
Terra Blade is the damage pick of the Yakushima melee set — 425 attack here and 637 at legendary, against 540 for Excalibur and 150 for Terraprisma. The trade is staying power: this rung carries only 757 durability, a quarter of the legendary blade's, so bring spares if you swing it through a raid.
Every Tier of Terra Blade
The same piece exists at 5 rarities, and the gap is not cosmetic: attack runs 425 to 637, a 1.5x swing. Which one you end up with is decided by the rarity of the schematic you built from, not by the recipe — so a legendary copy of this is worth more than the next item up built from a common one.
| Rarity | Item | Attack | Durability |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0★ | Terra Blade | 425 | 757 |
| 1★ | Terra Blade | 467 | 1135 |
| 2★ | Terra Blade | 510 | 1514 |
| 3★ | Terra Blade | 552 | 2271 |
| 4★ | Terra Blade | 637 | 3028 |
