Using Xenolord (Ultra) Slab Well
You should never have to craft the first one. Clearing the ordinary Xenolord raid — the Lv 65 fight the plain Xenolord Slab summons — hands over one Ultra Slab at a flat 100%, alongside Ancient Civilization Core x3-6, Training Crystal x4-5 and a guaranteed Dragon Skill Fruit: Dragon Meteor. The four-fragment recipe is the backup path for when you want a second attempt in the same sitting, not the intended route in.
The ultra raid pays for its own repeat. Beating it drops another Ultra Slab at 100%, so a clean clear costs you nothing but the altar and hands you the next ticket. That makes the real per-run price one Summoning Altar: level 33 on the ancient tech tree, Stone x100 and Paldium Fragment x20, consumed the moment you use it. Keep the stone and paldium stockpiled and pre-build the altar pad before you start a farming session, or every wipe costs a construction trip.
The ultra is not just a stat inflation of the Lv 65 fight. The boss lands at Lv 80, and the meteor adds spawn on three HP thresholds instead of two — 80%, 50% and 20%, versus 70% and 40% on the normal version. Every add is the MAX-tier version of the same aliens, and from the 50% wave onward each meteor volley can carry a large alien dragon on top of the trio of small ones. Plan for a longer fight with add pressure that never really lets up, and bring enough AoE to clear a wave before the next threshold lands.
Ultra clear rewards, all at 100%: Ancient Civilization Core x10, Training Crystal x10, Xenolord's head as a cosmetic, plus the replacement Ultra Slab. Note the swap — the ultra table drops the Dragon Meteor fruit that the Lv 65 version guarantees. If you are farming Dragon Meteor copies for a team, keep running the normal slab; the ultra is for cores, crystals and the cosmetic.
The egg reward rolls the same way at both difficulties: 90% an ordinary Xenolord, 10% the alpha-variant boss version. Running the ultra does not improve your odds on the alpha egg, so if that egg is what you are after, the cheaper Lv 65 slab is the better grind per altar spent.
