Where to Find Lunaris Effigy
Exactly four exist in the world and the ladder costs exactly four, so there is no margin: skip one and full homing is off the table for that save. The saving grace is geography — all four sit on the main island, none behind the World Tree gate, so unlike the Yakumo Effigy track this one can be finished the moment you can travel.
Where the four are, each measured from the fast-travel point you should land on: - Free Pal Alliance Tower Entrance — about 140 m northeast. The cheapest of the four; grab it on your way to the tower fight. - Anubis Dunes — about 180 m northwest, at sea level, so no climb. - Dustview Coast — about 285 m west along the shoreline. - Sealed Realm of the Swift — about 320 m northwest, and roughly 190 m up. This is the only one of the four with real elevation on it, so bring a glider or a flying mount rather than walking the slope.
Using Lunaris Effigy Well
The "certain statue" is a Statue of Power — either the buildable one in your own base or one of the pre-placed statues standing in the ruined churches. What a Lunaris effigy buys there is Sphere Homing, and nothing else: every effigy species is welded to one ladder, so these cannot be spent on capture power the way a Lifmunk Effigy can. The track is four ranks at one effigy per rank, each rank adding a quarter of the effect, and the fourth takes your thrown spheres to 100% homing — they steer onto the target instead of needing a clean arc.
Four pickups for a permanent throwing-accuracy fix makes this one of the two or three best returns on the thirteen effigy tracks — the other cheap max, the EXP bonus off Relaxaurus Effigies, is also four and worth the same trip planning. Homing pays out hardest on the targets that punish a missed throw: flighted pals drifting in the air, alphas mid-charge, and anything that bolts the second you break cover. Do it before a legendary hunt, not after, because every missed sphere on those is a sphere you crafted.
