Where to Find Grintale Saddle
Grintale Saddle is not something you find lying around — you craft it, and the recipe is below.
This one does sit in the technology tree: level 19, 1 technology point, then assembled at the Pal Gear Workbench from 10 Leather and 10 Paldium Fragment. Both materials are stock supply by that point, so the real cost is the point — and it is worth spending the moment you have a Grintale, because the egg duplication starts paying the instant the item exists.
Using Grintale Saddle Well
Calling this a saddle undersells it. The item is the switch for Grintale's partner skill, Glaring Cat's Eye — the game will not run the effect at all unless the saddle is in your inventory. With it owned and Grintale in the active party, every Pal egg you pick up off the ground rolls for a free duplicate: 50% at partner skill level 1, then 55%, 60%, 65%, and 75% at level 5. The roll fires on the pickup itself, so it applies to any egg you find in the world, not just the ones you were hunting for.
The five percentages track Grintale's star rank, so condensation is what turns a coin flip into a near-guarantee: a four-star Grintale duplicates three eggs in four. That makes a condensed Grintale the standing party member for any egg route — sweep the fixed nest spawns with it deployed and you come home with roughly a third to three-quarters more eggs for the same walk, which compounds hard when you are farming Huge eggs for a specific hatch. Since the effect only needs Grintale in the party, not deployed, you can keep a combat Pal out and still collect the bonus.
Grintale Saddle — Grintale's Gear
Grintale Saddle is Grintale's own gear — no other Pal can equip it, and Grintale cannot be ridden or put to work in its geared role until you have this in your inventory.
Equipping it turns on Grintale's partner skill, Glaring Cat's Eye.
Grintale is Neutral, which is what decides where it is worth taking — the gear does not change its typing, only what you can do with it.
