Feathered Hair Band
Armor · ArmorHead0★A headband trimmed with feathers. It shouldn't do much, yet it somehow wards off fatal head wounds.
Feathered Hair Band is an early head piece: 200th of 202 by defense, so treat it as a stepping stone, at 15 against the 650 of Ancient Helm.
Wearing it also carries the effect Max Inventory Weight up Equip 1, which matters more than the raw numbers in the biomes that punish you for the wrong outfit.
No recipe takes it as an ingredient. Whatever you build is the finished article, so there is no reason to hoard spares.

It does not stack, so every spare copy costs an inventory slot.

Where to Find Feathered Hair Band
Feathered Hair Band is not something you find lying around — you craft it, and the recipe is below.
Every Tier of Feathered Hair Band
The same piece exists at 5 rarities, and the gap is not cosmetic: defense runs 15 to 24, a 1.6x swing. Which one you end up with is decided by the rarity of the schematic you built from, not by the recipe — so a legendary copy of this is worth more than the next item up built from a common one.
| Rarity | Item | Defense | HP | Durability |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0★ | Feathered Hair Band (this one) | 15 | 60 | 200 |
| 1★ | Feathered Hair Band | 19 | 78 | 520 |
| 2★ | Feathered Hair Band | 21 | 84 | 600 |

Alternatives and Upgrades
Farming Hat matches it exactly at 15 defense — those two differ in what they resist and what they weigh, not in raw defense, so picking between them is a swap rather than an upgrade. The next real step is Feathered Hair Band at 19; below it is Farming Hat at 10.
