Roast Rushoar
Food · FoodDishMeat0★Boar cooked over a strong flame until the outside crisps and the inside stays juicy. A showpiece main for feeding a crowd.
Roast Rushoar is an early cooked dish: 38th of 45 by hunger restored, so treat it as a stepping stone, at 60 against the 418 of Mammorest Curry.
Nothing is crafted from it — it is an end product, so anything you make is meant to be used rather than banked as a component.

Where to Find Roast Rushoar
Roast Rushoar is not something you find lying around — you craft it, and the recipe is below.
Using Roast Rushoar Well
No bench gate: the recipe is shared by every cooking station — Campfire, Cooking Pot, Electric Kitchen, Large-Scale Stone Oven, Ancient Kitchen — and the Campfire is Technology level 2 for 1 point and 10 Wood. The dish comes out identical from all five, so there is nothing to gain by sitting on Rushoar Pork until the Cooking Pot unlocks at level 17.
One Rushoar Pork makes one roast, and the trade is 43 hunger raw against 60 cooked plus 1 SAN, at the same 2 weight per unit. The catch is the job: 3,200 work per roast, double what most single-meat dishes cost, so a Campfire with one Kindling worker is slow going through a full stack. Queue pork early rather than in the middle of a base-wide sanity crash.
Roast Rushoar is the wrong dish for almost any pork you own. The same single piece of meat becomes Rushoar Gyoza with 1 Mushroom and 1 Flour for 115 hunger and 20 SAN, or Rushoar Hot Dog with 1 Flour and 2 Lettuce for 140 and 18; two pieces plus 2 Eggs become Rushoar Bacon 'n' Eggs at 167 and 21. Gyoza and Bacon 'n' Eggs cost 7,000 work — barely twice the roast for roughly double the food and twenty times the sanity — and all three weigh 0.5 against the roast's 2, so a full trip's carry of cooked pork is four times the meals. Roast the pork only when you have no crops, no flour and no eggs; otherwise it is a waste of a Rushoar.
Alternatives and Upgrades
Step up from here and you get Omelet at 67 hunger restored; step down and it is LuxuryOmelette at 58. That gap is the honest measure of whether an upgrade is worth the materials right now.
