Baked Mushroom
Food · FoodDishVegetable0★Heat draws more nutrition out of this mushroom, which also proves oddly filling.

Where to Find Baked Mushroom
Baked Mushroom is not something you find lying around — you craft it, and the recipe is below.
Using Baked Mushroom Well
Every cooker on the tech tree takes this recipe, so the only question is which one you have: Campfire at Technology 2, Cooking Pot at 17, Electric Kitchen at 41, Large-Scale Stone Oven at 49, Ancient Kitchen at 70. Nothing gates it behind an unlock item — the first campfire you ever place can already bake it.
Only the Campfire and the Cooking Pot let you stand there and cook it yourself. The Electric Kitchen, Large-Scale Stone Oven and Ancient Kitchen are worker-only stations, so out in the field, away from base, a campfire is the one way to turn a pack of raw Mushroom into food.
Baking is pure profit on an ingredient you pick up for free: 13 nutrition becomes 18, and the raw mushroom's zero SAN becomes 1. There is no second ingredient and no fuel cost, so any mushroom you are carrying should go on the fire before it goes in your mouth.
The cook is 500 work, the floor for the food list, and the four base stations all want a Kindling worker to run it. The Ancient Kitchen is the exception — it carries no work suitability at all, so any Pal you assign will bake, which makes it the place to dump a bulk mushroom haul once you reach Technology 70.
