A single low-level Kindling worker will sit on the kitchen for a long stretch per cake, so put your best Kindling Pal on food duty and cook a batch ahead of the breeding run rather than one at a time between pairings.
Honey is the throttle on this recipe, not the vegetables. Wheat, Tomato and Lettuce plantations plus a Mill and a Chikipi ranch cover four of the five ingredients on a loop you never have to leave base for, but the 4 Honey per cake only accumulates on its own if Beegarde is sitting in a Ranch slot — otherwise you are back to killing Elizabee or Warsect between batches. Stock the ranch before you build the plantations; the greens will always outrun the hive.
Because one of these produces two eggs instead of one, it is cheaper per egg than the cakes it replaces on every line of the recipe. Halve it and a single egg costs 4 Flour, 4 Egg, 4 Tomato, 3.5 Lettuce and 2 Honey against the 5 Flour, 8 Egg, 8 Berries, 7 Milk and 2 Honey a plain Cake (Cake) or Mushroom Cake (Mushroom Cake) burns for one. Once this recipe is open there is no reason to keep loading the lower tiers into a Breeding Farm chest for bulk hatching.
