Using Hyper Glider Well

The recipe is a level 52 Technology entry costing 4 ordinary Technology points, and it is gated on nothing else — no prerequisite tech, no tower boss. The moment you hit 52 you can buy it outright with points levelling already handed you, which is not true of the glider above it: the Wing Pack is boss technology at level 80 for 9 Ancient Technology points.

It is the last glider that costs nothing to fly. The Wing Pack burns Wing Cells, a separate level 80 recipe worth another 5 points, so from level 52 until you are deep into ancient technology the Hyper Glider is your ceiling — roughly 28 levels of use, which is what makes 40 Pal Metal Ingot a reasonable bill. Against the Giga Glider it is a straight upgrade on both counts the item text names, glide speed and lift, with no drawback beyond 5 more weight.

The craft is 150,000 work — triple the Giga Glider's 50,000. Stock the bench and put your best Handiwork Pals on it rather than hand-cranking it, and build it at a Production Assembly Line II.
