Where to Find Flame Organ

37 Pals drop Flame Organ when defeated or captured, which is usually the faster route if you are already out hunting — the drop list below is sorted by how reliably each one gives it up.

If you would rather just buy it, the cheapest seller is Caravan Shop at 300 Gold, and 3 other shops stock it too.

It also shows up as world loot — field drops in the Mount Obsidian, fire-sealed chests in the Forest and fire-sealed chests in the Desert, and 2 more pools besides, usually 2–3 at a time. Higher-grade chests carry the better rolls, so the ones guarded by a camp are usually worth the detour.

Sending a team on the Eternal Pyre's Forbidden Market expedition brings some back without you leaving base.

Hands-off option: Rooby, Kelpsea Ignis and Flambelle produce it at a Ranch, so a single assigned Pal keeps a slow supply coming in.

The Ranch line in the table above assumes you have built one, and that unlock is cheaper than most players expect: the Ranch sits at Technology level 5 and costs Wood x30, Fiber x30 and Stone x20. That puts a passive Flame Organ supply within reach long before you can fight anything that drops the material in bulk, which matters because the early recipes that want it — Fire Arrow, the Heat Resistant Pelt Armor line — all land in the same stretch of the tech tree.

How to Get Flame Organ — Dropped By 37 Pals

Using Flame Organ Well

The armour and accessory recipes are not where most of your Flame Organs end up. The research lab is the real sink: the five Kindling levels take 10, 15, 70, 120 and 200 (415 total), the four Incubation Acceleration levels another 20, 80, 120 and 200, and Kindling Research Tips, Mass Cooking Technique, Refinement Technique, Base Pal Enhancement and Flame Cauldron Development add the rest — roughly 1,285 organs to clear every fire-linked project. Late-game builds pile on top of that: the Gigantic Furnace alone wants 200 and the Flamethrower 30. Start a Ranch stockpile well before you reach those tiers rather than farming in a rush.

Nearly every fire Pal saddle eats Flame Organs too. Blazamut Ryu Saddle is the outlier at 60 per craft; Kitsun Noct (30), Jormuntide Ignis (28), Faleris (25), Blazehowl Noct and Pyrin Noct (24 each) and Suzaku, Reptyro and Ragnahawk (20 each) follow. If you plan to ride a fire mount, bank that amount before you hit the unlock level so the saddle is not gated behind another boss run.

Buying at 300 Gold each is a trap once you can kill anything sizeable. Blazamut drops 10 per kill and Suzaku 5–10, so a single boss run is worth 1,500–3,000 Gold of shop stock; even a mid-tier target like Ragnahawk at 5–7 beats what an hour of gold farming buys. Reserve the merchant stock for the moment a recipe is short by two or three organs and you do not want to break camp.

Of the three ranch producers, Kelpsea Ignis is the one to stock up on. It appears at roughly 786 spawn points across the map against 232 for Flambelle and 134 for Rooby, so filling every ranch slot with Kelpsea Ignis takes one catching trip rather than several, and it is the only one of the three you are likely to stumble into while doing something else.
