It weighs almost nothing and stacks to 9,999, so there is no reason not to carry a full stack.
Where to Find Aquatic Pal Fluids
37 Pals drop Aquatic Pal Fluids when defeated or captured, which is usually the faster route if you are already out hunting — the drop list below is sorted by how reliably each one gives it up.
If you would rather just buy it, the cheapest seller is Caravan Shop at 300 Gold, and 2 other shops stock it too.
It also shows up as world loot — water-sealed chests in the Forest, water-sealed chests in the Desert and water-sealed chests in the Sakurajima, and 5 more pools besides, usually 10–20 at a time. Higher-grade chests carry the better rolls, so the ones guarded by a camp are usually worth the detour.
Sending a team on the Rayne Syndicate Smuggling Warehouse expedition brings some back without you leaving base.
Hands-off option: Kelpsea produces it at a Ranch, so a single assigned Pal keeps a slow supply coming in.
The best field circuit is the pocket just north of the map's centre, around (113, -351). Three separate 100% droppers share that ground — Pengullet, Celaray and Kelpsea — and their spawn areas overlap tightly enough that one loop hits all three, instead of the single-species shoreline you get almost everywhere else. It is also where you pick up your ranch producer, since Kelpsea is the Pal you want standing on the Ranch afterwards.

Using Aquatic Pal Fluids Well
One partner skill in the whole Paldeck raises what Water Pals drop, and it is Stormcloud on Fenglope Lux. Keep it in the party while you clear Water Pals and the haul goes up 40% at partner skill level 1, rising through 50, 60 and 70 to 80% at level 5. There is no second option to swap in — every other drop-boosting partner skill is keyed to Fire, Ice, Dark, Earth, Grass, Electric or Normal, so Fenglope Lux is the only Pal that multiplies this particular material.
Nothing you kill needs to be strong to be worth killing. Every Water Pal on the drop list pays out at a flat 100%, so there is no rate to grind against and the only thing that changes between targets is stack size — the low-level starters hand over 1 while the heavy Pals give 2 to 5. Respawning packs of Pengullet and Kelpsea out-earn hunting a lone Azurobe, and they die to a level-15 character.
