Where to Find Bone

23 Pals drop Bone when defeated or captured, which is usually the faster route if you are already out hunting — the drop list below is sorted by how reliably each one gives it up.

Using Bone Well

There is no reason to pay 200 Gold a piece at a merchant unless you are stuck at a base. Every Pal on the drop list gives Bone at a 100% rate except Kikit, so a single Anubis kill returns 3-5 for free — and butchering works on Pals you have already caught and no longer need.

Before gold is worth spending, farm Rushoar and Vixy. Both are guaranteed to leave a Bone behind and both are low-rarity Pals with the widest spawn coverage on the map of anything on the drop list — Rushoar alone occupies roughly twice as many spawn points as Vixy and several times as many as the bigger-yield droppers.

The dense field farm runs after dark. Cawgnito is nocturnal and appears at about five times as many night spawn points as day ones, and it drops 2-4 Bone every time; Sootseer is night-only in practice, with barely a handful of daytime spawns. A night sweep also nets the two Pals you want on the Ranch, so the same trip converts into passive supply.
