Where to Find Elphidran Ring

The recipe is not on the Technology tree — it is locked behind a schematic you have to find first. The best single source is treasure chests in the Sunreach Isle at 2.4% per container, and the table below lists every tier and where each one drops.

Using Elphidran Ring Well

The two passives are both at the top of their ladders: Element Resist Dark 4 cuts incoming Dark damage by 35%, and Element Boost Dragon 4 adds 20% to the Dragon damage your active Pal deals. Neither has a trigger or a cooldown — they run for as long as the ring is in a slot.

There is no handcraft path — the ring cannot be assembled from the inventory menu, so you need to be standing at a bench, and the job is 150,000 work units. Put your best Handiwork Pals on it or expect to leave it running while you do something else.

Send a Dragon Pal into a Dark fight and this one accessory slot pays twice: the Pal's Dragon attacks land on a type that already takes extra from Dragon, boosted a further 20%, while 35% of everything the Dark side throws back is shaved off. Against a Dark boss it is the strongest single accessory decision you can make.

No amount of technology points unlocks this ring — it is gated purely on the schematic, Elphidran Ring Schematic, which has to be sitting in your inventory before the recipe appears. The schematic is a Grade 5 chest roll on the Sunreach Isle: roughly 2.4% from treasure chests in the Sunreach Skies caverns, about 0.98% from the crates on the large oil rig, and about 0.19% from ordinary chests around the island. The cavern treasure chests are more than twice as generous as anything else, so that is the loop to farm.

What Elphidran Ring Does

Elphidran Ring grants Dark Damage Reduction Lv. 4: Element Resist Dark +35.

Elphidran Ring grants Pal Dragon Damage Enhancement Lv. 4: Dragon damage +20.

Those figures apply to the Pal out of its sphere and fighting beside you, not to your own character — the item does nothing while your team is in storage.

Schematics That Unlock Elphidran Ring

Elphidran Ring is not learned from the Technology tree — you need a schematic for it. One schematic grants the recipe, and they are world loot — chests, boss Pals and the late-game pools — rather than anything you research. Higher-rarity copies of the same schematic raise the quality of what you end up crafting.

Fastest route. The top-tier Elphidran Ring schematic is worth hunting directly — treasure chests in the Sunreach Isle is its best source, at roughly 42 containers a copy. Schematics fuse five-to-one, so a lower tier with better odds can beat the top tier outright. Counts are containers of that source, not time.
