Cryolinx Ring
Accessory3★Your active Pal takes far less Dragon damage while this is equipped, and deals considerably more Ice damage.
Wearing it also carries the effects Dragon Damage Reduction Lv. 4, Pal Ice Damage Enhancement Lv. 4, which matters more than the raw numbers in the biomes that punish you for the wrong outfit.
It feeds no other recipe, which makes it a terminal item: craft what you will actually carry and stop there.
Details
It does not stack, so every spare copy costs an inventory slot. At 40,680 gold it is worth real money to a merchant.

Where to Find Cryolinx Ring
The recipe is not on the Technology tree — it is locked behind a schematic you have to find first. The best single source is treasure chests in the Sunreach Isle at 2.4% per container, and the table below lists every tier and where each one drops.
The schematic breaks the usual partner-ring farming rule. On the Fire and Water rings the large oil rig is the best container in the game for them, but for the Ice one the grade-5 treasure chests down in the Sunreach Skies caverns roll it at about 2.38% — roughly two and a half times the 0.98% the oil rig crates pay. The ordinary surface chests on Sunreach Isle are the trap at about 0.19%, some twelve times worse than the caverns you can reach on the same trip. Run the caverns for this one.
There is also a single placed pickup that hands the schematic over outright, bundled with 35 Dog Coin. No roll and no respawn, so it is worth clearing before you commit to any chest farming — but note it pays 35 coins where the Fire and Water equivalents pay 45.
Using Cryolinx Ring Well
Nothing in the technology tree unlocks this recipe. The craft stays greyed out until a Cryolinx Ring Schematic is sitting in your inventory, and it has to stay there — the schematic is the key, not a one-time consumable, so do not sell it once the ring is built.
The two halves resolve to 35% of incoming Dragon damage cut and 20% more Ice damage dealt, both sitting at rank 4 of their ladders. They are not wired the same way: the Ice boost carries a partner-only tag, so it contributes exactly nothing while you have no Pal deployed, whereas the Dragon resistance runs off the generic rank-4 resist entry. The ring is only at full value with an Ice Pal actively swinging, and the 20% lifts that Pal's damage rather than your own — pair it with a partner you actually fight with, not a traversal mount.
The schematic text names the Production Assembly Line, but the whole workshop family accepts the recipe — the Line II, the Advanced Workshop and the Ancient Workbench all take it, each crafting faster than the rung below. Queue it on the best station your base already runs rather than rebuilding an older bench. At 150,000 work this is a long job, and the 5 Ancient Civilization Parts are the real bottleneck; since one copy keeps the recipe unlocked forever, a second ring is merchant fodder.
Unlike the Fire line, this ring has no rank-2 successor in the data — the Cryolinx Ring is the whole Ice partner-ring family, so there is no upgrade to save Ancient Civilization Parts for.
What Cryolinx Ring Does
Cryolinx Ring grants Dragon Damage Reduction Lv. 4: Element Resist Dragon +35.
Cryolinx Ring grants Pal Ice Damage Enhancement Lv. 4: Ice damage +20.
Those figures apply to the Pal out of its sphere and fighting beside you, not to your own character — the item does nothing while your team is in storage.
Schematics That Unlock Cryolinx Ring
Cryolinx Ring is not learned from the Technology tree — you need a schematic for it. One schematic grants the recipe, and they are world loot — chests, boss Pals and the late-game pools — rather than anything you research. Higher-rarity copies of the same schematic raise the quality of what you end up crafting.
Fastest route. The top-tier Cryolinx Ring schematic is worth hunting directly — treasure chests in the Sunreach Isle is its best source, at roughly 42 containers a copy. Schematics fuse five-to-one, so a lower tier with better odds can beat the top tier outright. Counts are containers of that source, not time.
| Schematic | Rarity | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| 3★ | Sunreach Isle treasure chests, Crates on the large oil rig, Sunreach Isle chests — best 2.4% (grade 5) |
