Ice Emperor's Baton

Accessory3

Lifts the Attack of the Pal at your side and gives their Ice damage a large boost.

Wearing it also carries the effects Pal Attack Up Lv. 4, Pal Ice Damage Enhancement Lv. 4, which matters more than the raw numbers in the biomes that punish you for the wrong outfit.

It feeds no other recipe, which makes it a terminal item: craft what you will actually carry and stop there.

Where to Find Ice Emperor's Baton

The recipe is not on the Technology tree — it is locked behind a schematic you have to find first. The best single source is treasure chests in the Sunreach Isle at 2.4% per container, and the table below lists every tier and where each one drops.

One placed pickup hands Ice Emperor's Baton Schematic over outright with 50 Dog Coin attached — no roll, no respawn. That is the largest coin bundle among the Ice partner accessories (the Cryolinx Ring's schematic comes with 35), and it skips the chest farming entirely, so clear it before committing to any grade-5 route.

Using Ice Emperor's Baton Well

The two chips resolve to hard numbers: rank 4 of the Pal Attack ladder is +16% Attack, and rank 4 of the Ice enhancement ladder is +20% Ice damage. Both are tagged partner-only and both run continuously while the baton occupies an accessory slot — there is no trigger to set up. Neither one touches your own guns or melee, and with no Pal out you are wearing a dead slot, so this is a companion-fighter accessory rather than a damage upgrade for the player.

Check what you already own before you spend Ancient Civilization Cores on it. The Ice Support Whistle sits at rank 3 of the same Ice ladder, which is +18% — two points off the baton's +20%. The Ice half of this accessory is therefore almost a wash against a far cheaper whistle, and what the cores actually buy you is the +16% partner Attack, which applies to every hit that Pal lands regardless of element.

Rank 4 is the ceiling for partner Ice damage — nothing in the data goes past +20%, and three other accessories reach it, so pick by the second line rather than by the Ice number. Cryolinx Ring pairs it with rank-4 Dragon resistance for you; Frostallion's Talisman pairs it with a rank-4 partner Defense bump; this baton is the one that pairs it with partner Attack. An Ice Pal you send in to kill wants the baton, one you send in to tank wants the talisman.

What Ice Emperor's Baton Does

Ice Emperor's Baton grants Pal Attack Up Lv. 4: Shot Attack +16.

Ice Emperor's Baton grants Pal Ice Damage Enhancement Lv. 4: Ice damage +20.

Those figures apply to the Pal out of its sphere and fighting beside you, not to your own character — the item does nothing while your team is in storage.

Schematics That Unlock Ice Emperor's Baton

Ice Emperor's Baton is not learned from the Technology tree — you need a schematic for it. One schematic grants the recipe, and they are world loot — chests, boss Pals and the late-game pools — rather than anything you research. Higher-rarity copies of the same schematic raise the quality of what you end up crafting.

Fastest route. The top-tier Ice Emperor's Baton schematic is worth hunting directly — treasure chests in the Sunreach Isle is its best source, at roughly 42 containers a copy. Schematics fuse five-to-one, so a lower tier with better odds can beat the top tier outright. Counts are containers of that source, not time.
