Ring of Dragon Resistance
Accessory2★Equipment that shaves a small amount off Dragon damage taken.
Wearing it also carries the effect Dragon Damage Reduction Lv. 3, which matters more than the raw numbers in the biomes that punish you for the wrong outfit.
This is where the crafting chain ends — nothing downstream consumes it, so a stockpile earns you nothing.
Details
It does not stack, so every spare copy costs an inventory slot. At 25,080 gold it is worth real money to a merchant.
Ring of Dragon Resistance Crafting Recipe
Crafting it takes 90 materials across 4 types.
Where to Find Ring of Dragon Resistance
The recipe is not on the Technology tree — it is locked behind a schematic you have to find first. The best single source is treasure chests in the Feybreak at 3.4% per container, and the table below lists every tier and where each one drops.
The recipe is not a technology you can research — no elemental resistance ring sits anywhere in the tech tree. The crafting entry only appears once you are holding the Ring of Dragon Resistance Schematic (Ring of Dragon Resistance Schematic), and that paper drops only from grade 5 chest tables: oil rig crates carry it at about 1.2% (roughly one per 85 crates), Feybreak treasure chests at about 0.16% (one per 620), Feybreak field chests at about 0.12% (one per 860). The oil rig is seven times better than anything else, so if you are farming for it deliberately, farm rigs and ignore the island chests. There is also one scripted container in the world that simply hands the schematic over alongside 25 Dog Coins — a fixed reward, collected once, not a roll.
Using Ring of Dragon Resistance Well
The in-game blurb says "slightly reduces" and undersells the ring badly. What it actually carries is Element Resist Dragon 3, which takes 30% off every point of Dragon damage that reaches you, with no condition attached — no HP threshold, no partner Pal, no stance. It runs for as long as the ring sits in an accessory slot, and it stacks with armour, so a Dragon alpha that two-shot you before will need three swings after.
Do not hold out for a rarer copy. The higher-tier versions in the data are wired to the exact same Element Resist Dragon 3 — identical 30%, identical weight of 2 — so Ring of Dragon Resistance +1 buys you a rarity label and nothing your health bar can feel. Craft the plain ring as soon as the schematic lands. Budget for the build too: it cannot be hand-crafted from your inventory, it needs a workbench, and at 15,000 work units it is one of the longer accessory jobs — park your best Handiwork Pals on the bench or it will eat most of an in-game day.
What Ring of Dragon Resistance Does
Ring of Dragon Resistance grants Dragon Damage Reduction Lv. 3: Element Resist Dragon +30.
Schematics That Unlock Ring of Dragon Resistance
Ring of Dragon Resistance is not learned from the Technology tree — you need a schematic for it. One schematic grants the recipe, and they are world loot — chests, boss Pals and the late-game pools — rather than anything you research. Higher-rarity copies of the same schematic raise the quality of what you end up crafting.
Fastest route. The top-tier Ring of Dragon Resistance schematic is worth hunting directly — treasure chests in the Feybreak is its best source, at roughly 29 containers a copy. Schematics fuse five-to-one, so a lower tier with better odds can beat the top tier outright. Counts are containers of that source, not time.
| Schematic | Rarity | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| 2★ | Feybreak treasure chests, Crates on the oil rigs, Feybreak chests — best 3.4% (grade 5) |
