Using Neptilius Saddle Well
Sits at Technology level 64 and costs 3 ordinary Technology points — no Ancient Technology points are involved, so the only gate is reaching the level. Build it at a Pal Gear Workbench once unlocked.
The saddle is the only way to mount Neptilius; its partner skill, Sentinel of the Great Sea, is what turns it into a water mount and adds the leap you can trigger while riding over water.
That mounted water leap runs on a 3.6 second cooldown at partner skill rank 1 and drops to 3.0s, 2.4s, 1.8s and finally 1.0s at rank 5, so condensing Neptilius turns the jump from an occasional escape into something you can chain across open ocean.
Neptilius Saddle — Neptilius's Gear
Neptilius Saddle is Neptilius's own gear — no other Pal can equip it, and Neptilius cannot be ridden or put to work in its geared role until you have this in your inventory.
Equipping it turns on Neptilius's partner skill, Sentinel of the Great Sea.
