How to Get Blazamut
Blazamut is Fire, so a Water attacker takes it down fastest — and a Pal it resists will drag the fight long enough for it to heal or flee.
Wild Blazamut spawn between level 46 and 80. That top end fights the sphere much harder, so start low and leave the tougher ones until you need duplicates.
Its capture rate is 1.0, which makes it exactly average, so weaken it properly and throw from behind for the back-strike bonus.
If you would rather not fight one at level 52, Huge Scorching Egg pulled from the volcanic region can hatch a Blazamut at whatever level your party is, and the nests refill on a timer, so a farming loop through the same ridge pays out repeatedly. Fire eggs roll across the whole fire roster, so treat this as a slow second route rather than a guarantee.
WaterPlaying Blazamut Well
Water is the lever: Suzaku Aqua or Azurobe out with you converts your own shots to Water, and Kelpsea in the party pushes the damage of any Water Pal fighting beside you. Blazamut is heavy and slow to turn — everything it throws comes out of its front arc, so circle-strafe rather than backing straight up, and roll sideways out of the fire breath instead of trying to outrun it down the line. Its slams have a long recovery; that is your window to unload on the head. Carry far more assault rifle ammunition than the fight looks like it needs, since the alpha's health pool is the real obstacle, not its damage.
The level 52 alpha holds a clearing on the volcanic highlands north-east of the Mount Obsidian Trail fast travel point — climb from the statue and it is the only thing that size in that pocket. Bring heat-resistant armour before you go; the region chips away at your health on its own, and a fight you have to break off halfway is a fight you lose. The wild spawn table is identical by day and by night, so there is no better hour to go.

Blazamut Boss Rewards
Beating the boss Blazamut once yields the Blazamut Bounty Token. Holding it is the whole effect — it permanently raises the stats of every Pal on your team for as long as it sits in your inventory, so it is never worth selling.
The fight also unlocks Blazamut Saddle, the gear that lets you ride or deploy Blazamut properly.

Where to Find Blazamut
Blazamut spawn locations in the wild — every marked spot is a known spawn area.
Nearly all of them sit around Flamepulse Islet — 100% of the known spots. They come in groups of up to 2, so plan sphere stock for more than one.
