How to Get Frostallion Noct
Frostallion Noct does not spawn randomly. There is exactly one, a fixed level 65 alpha standing in its own spot on the map, so this is a scripted fight you travel to rather than something you search for.
Frostallion Noct is Dark, so a Dragon attacker takes it down fastest — and a Pal it resists will drag the fight long enough for it to heal or flee.
Wild Frostallion Noct spawn at level 65, so bring something comfortably above that: an under-levelled team turns a catch into a damage race you lose.
Its capture rate is 1.0, which makes it exactly average, so weaken it properly and throw from behind for the back-strike bonus.
DragonPlaying Frostallion Noct Well
Flying it is a second purchase on top of catching or hatching it. The Frostallion Noct Saddle is its own technology at level 62 for 5 points, and Frostallion's saddle — same level, same 5 points — does not carry over, so keeping both forms airborne costs 10 points out of one budget. The bills diverge where it counts: this one wants 72 Venom Gland where Frostallion asks for Ice Organ, on top of 96 Paldium Fragment, 43 Leather and 43 Coralum Ingot. Menasting is the fastest gland farm at 5-10 a kill, but Helzephyr drops 1-3 and is already the Pal you need on one side of the breeding pen — run the parent hunt first and the saddle mats mostly collect themselves.
"Does not spawn in the wild" covers the ordinary encounter tables only — there is one fixed point on the world where this Pal stands, the level 65 Alpha on the No. 3 wildlife sanctuary island off the northeastern desert coast. The nearest fast-travel statue is Deep Sand Dunes, out on the desert shore to the southwest; fly northeast from it and turn the Alphas layer on in the map to line the approach up. That single point matters for more than loot: it is the only way to own one of these without owning a Frostallion first, because the breeding route needs the legendary itself on one side of the pen.
Everything worth farming here is on the Alpha table, and the Alpha is one respawning point rather than a roaming population, so this is a return trip you plan rather than an encounter you hope for. Ancient Civilization Parts and Precious Entrails both pay 6-8 per clear at 100%, which is the reason to keep the loop running; the Overheat Rifle Schematic 4 sits at 3%, so budget for something like thirty-odd clears of the same spot instead of expecting it on the trip you happen to make.
